5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anna Velvet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Odell Paquette! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velvet walks into a left hand. Velvet looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Velvet avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Paquette misses with a double jab.
Velvet cracks Paquette with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Velvet throws a nice inside leg kick. Paquette throws a body punch but Velvet moves out of range. Velvet fails with an attempt to clinch.
Paquette uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Velvet ducks under a wild hook from Paquette. Paquette fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Velvet drops his hands momentarily and Paquette takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Paquette rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Velvet moves out of range and avoids them all easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paquette throws a body shot but no joy. Velvet bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Paquette looks to land a right hand but Velvet moved out of range. Paquette misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velvet moves into range and clinches up with Paquette. Velvet swings wildly with an uppercut but Paquette uses good head movement to avoid it. Velvet pushes Paquette back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Velvet lands a hook to the side of the head. Paquette escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Paquette looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Some wild striking there from Paquette.
Paquette connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Paquette ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Velvet moves away. Velvet tries to close the distance and clinch but Paquette swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Paquette is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Velvet. Velvet slips a jab from Paquette.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Paquette throws a combination that misses and Velvet counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Velvet slips a jab and a cross from Paquette.
Sloppy strikes from Paquette. Those never looked like landing. Paquette throws a hook to the side of Velvet's head but Velvet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Paquette goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Paquette throws a right and a left that Velvet avoids nicely. A swing and a miss from Paquette. Velvet tries to clinch and Paquette counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Paquette ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Velvet moves away. Nice cross by Paquette. Velvet throws the left hand but Paquette avoids the punch easily. Odell Paquette seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paquette misses with a double jab
and Velvet counters with a right hand to the body. Paquette on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big left from Paquette misses. Paquette scores with a sloppy right hand. Velvet should have avoided that one. A combination from Paquette does no damage. Paquette throws out a loose jab but Velvet uses good head movement to avoid it. Paquette uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Velvet.

Velvet moves forwards but Paquette connects with a nice, crisp jab. Velvet is looking to clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paquette cracks Velvet with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Paquette stalks Velvet and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Velvet's face. Velvet staggers backwards, shaken. Velvet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Paquette moves away. Velvet showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Paquette.
Paquette misses with a wild body shot. Velvet throws a body punch but Paquette moves out of range. Paquette misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Velvet counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Velvet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paquette swats him away and circles back towards the center. Paquette lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Velvet missing with a left hand there. Paquette was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sobotka takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sobotka throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A head kick from Mclovin lands but Sobotka takes it in his stride. Sobotka swings for the body but Mclovin moves out of range.
Sobotka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mclovin but Mclovin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mclovin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sobotka misses with a body shot.
Sobotka throws a head kick that misses and Mclovin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Sobotka misses with a hook. Mclovin ducked under it nicely. Mclovin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sobotka scores with a jab to the body. Sobotka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mclovin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sobotka's head. Mclovin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sobotka. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marek Sobotka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sobotka tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sobotka shoots in looking for a takedown. Mclovin tries to sprawl out of it but Sobotka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mclovin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sobotka fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mclovin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Mclovin lands a jab to the head.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Lee! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee misses the shot to the body. Tonn loads up on a big right hand but Lee slips the punch. Tonn misses the shot to the body. Lee looks to clinch and Tonn counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lee! Lee tries to buck Tonn off but Tonn is having none of it. Lee is trying to control Tonn's posture but Tonn avoids it. We've been hearing that Tonn has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Tonn is staying tight to Lee's torso, preventing him from escaping. Tonn grinds an elbow into Lee's temple. Tonn postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Lee has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Lee is looking to reverse the position. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sanchez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Khaan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jab, jab by Khaan - just one landing. Sanchez closes the distance and clinches.
