The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elbow fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie .
An inside leg kick lands from Elbow.
Elbow throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
That kick from Elbow tenderised Gracie 's leg. Gracie is trying to keep his angry face on.

Elbow's coach down at Foot Loves was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Elbow's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Elbow lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gracie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gracie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gracie has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Elbow is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gracie yanks on the arm and Elbow is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gracie .

Laranja shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dudkov but Dudkov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Griegorij Dudkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dudkov looks to throw the jab but Laranja is out of range.
Laranja closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dudkov did well to prevent Laranja getting side control.
Laranja is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dudkov has managed to free his arm - good work.
Laranja moves nicely into side control.
Laranja is trying to get an arm triangle but Dudkov is defending well.

Dudkov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Laranja has an Americana. Dudkov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Laranja is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Laranja hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Renato Laranja decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
