The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kedorf lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sampson circles away quickly and effectively. Kedorf misses with a few strikes there.
Sampson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A right-left combo lands from Kedorf. Kedorf has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Sampson slips a jab and a cross from Kedorf.

The Sparta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boy moves away. The Sparta fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boy, pushing him back against the cage. The Sparta stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. The Sparta lands a nice uppercut. The Sparta lands with a left to the head. Boy is defending well against a takedown attempt. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from The Sparta. The Sparta looks to throw an elbow but misses. Boy looking to stall.

Boy's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. The fighters circling - The Sparta throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The Sparta is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boy can do to turn this around? Boy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. The Sparta throws a right and a left that Boy avoids nicely. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slamchest tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lazaro defends well and Slamchest ends up having to push Lazaro into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lazaro lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Slamchest is trying to break the clinch but Lazaro is controlling him. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Lazaro has Slamchest pressed against the cage, preventing Slamchest from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Come on Lazaro - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Kilpatrick doesn't seem bothered though. and Juravlev counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kilpatrick! He's just covering up as Juravlev starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Louie feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fuji sprawling to the canvas! Fuji rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Louie finish him?!
That has opened up Chiyono Fuji's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fuji blocks a head kick by Louie.
Louie is looking to wear down Fuji with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Louie lands with a nice body punch. Louie throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Fuji's coach down at The GYM (14 elite coaches on the Island) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fuji's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Louie lands with a shot to the body. Oooooh!!! Louie has knocked Fuji down with a huge combo! Louie steps away and waves a wobbly Fuji back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The cut above Chiyono Fuji's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fuji avoids the body shot from Louie.

Chiyono Fuji's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
