Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Halfdan Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dark Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lodbrok comes to the ring accompanied by Killing in the name of.... Dark Killer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodbrok gets off balance looking for a body kick
enabling Killer to counter with a crisp jab.
Lodbrok throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Killer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Killer checks a leg kick.
Lodbrok lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Dark Killer has been cut.
Lodbrok lands with a slapping head kick.
Lodbrok throws a body punch but Killer moves out of range.
Lodbrok throws a head kick that misses.
Lodbrok fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Killer.
Lodbrok throws a sloppy body shot
and Killer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lodbrok steps in and throws a big head kick that drops Killer to the mat! Killer looks in trouble, can he beat the count? Lodbrok is bouncing in a neutral corner joining in with the referee '4,5,6' they both chant. 7,8,9... he's not going to make it! 10! He's out! Lodbrok jumps onto the ropes and takes in the acclaim from the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Halfdan Lodbrok!

Halfdan Lodbrok was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
