Phoenix is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dank. Phoenix lands with a straight right. Dank didn't see that one coming. Phoenix throws a jab when Dank was well out of range.

Phoenix has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Dank wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Phoenix throws a body shot but no joy. Nice sprawl there from Phoenix as Dank shoots in. Phoenix looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Phoenix throws a hook but Dank avoids it easily. Phoenix misses with a wild body shot. Phoenix tries to clinch there but Dank circles away.
Dank misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A combination from Dank does no damage. Phoenix on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Dank takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Phoenix throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Dank stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Phoenix . Phoenix throws a head kick but Dank moves out of range.
Phoenix scores with a decent looking hook. Phoenix lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Simon Phoenix is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A leg kick checked by Phoenix . Dank tries to move into range but Phoenix moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Dank uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Phoenix .

Dank throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Phoenix on the side of the head.

Dank is trying to drag Phoenix to the mat but Phoenix just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Dank. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dank wants to slow Phoenix down by chopping away at his legs. Dank takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Phoenix walks into a stiff left hand from Dank. Dank looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Phoenix lands a head shot. Dank swats away the attempt to clinch by Phoenix . Phoenix connects with the punch.

Dank walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Phoenix checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Dank throws a combination that misses and Phoenix counters with a head kick. A combination from Dank does no damage. Dank lands a leg kick that knocks Phoenix off balance momentarily. Dank misses with a body kick. Phoenix lands a jab to Dank's midsection. Phoenix jabs Dank right on the nose. Dank blinks but takes it well. Dank swats away the attempt to clinch by Phoenix . A combination from Dank does no damage. Phoenix is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dank had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Phoenix catches Dank with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Some bone on bone action there as Phoenix checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Phoenix throws a sloppy head kick and Dank moves out of range easily. Dank uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Phoenix .

and Dank counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Phoenix uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dank. John Dank is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dank lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Phoenix circles away quickly and effectively. Dank seems to have got his legs back now. Phoenix takes a swing at Dank's ribcage but misses. Phoenix lands a jab to the head.

Phoenix moves out of range of the body kick. Dank fakes the leg kick and cracks Phoenix in the body. Phoenix showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dank.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dank swings away with a leg kick that misses. Phoenix pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Dank throws a big shot that misses.

Dank has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Phoenix avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dank takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Phoenix . Dank shrugs it off though. Phoenix with a nice cross. Dank fails to land with a series of punches.

Abreham Killyousovizh dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A solid body kick from Killyousovizh. Kingston takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Killyousovizh lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Killyousovizh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingston has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Killyousovizh. Kingston lands a nice shot to the body.

and Kingston counters with a nice low kick that buckles Killyousovizh's knee momentarily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Killyousovizh, as that shot connected.

Sikaniska makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rasputin shoots in looking for a takedown. Sikaniska dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Rasputin stiff and motionless on the mat!

Good exchange - Miller coming out on top. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Four has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Miller's jab looks to have found its range, popping Four under the eye. Four showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.
Four is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Miller throws a half hearted mid kick. Miller shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Four eats them both and turns towards Miller to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Miller scores with a takedown into Four's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Four has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Miller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Four utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Oven breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Storm with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Oven to score with a decent uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Some wild striking there from Storm.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Silas Storm. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Storm, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
