Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phill Bunce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Llavicrep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Phill Bunce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Llavicrep! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Llavicrep shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bunce as he jumps to the side. Llavicrep takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nice takedown defense from Bunce. No joy for Llavicrep on that attempt. Bunce cracks Llavicrep with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Llavicrep looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bunce finish him?
Llavicrep dives in for a single leg takedown but Bunce sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Phill Bunce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Llavicrep. Bunce pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Llavicrep has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Llavicrep avoids the body shot from Bunce.
This has been an exciting period of action! Bunce takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Llavicrep rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bunce moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The crowd cheers as Bunce lands an impressive looking overhand right. Llavicrep doesn't seem phased though. Llavicrep fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Llavicrep uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bunce. Bunce misses the shot to the body. Llavicrep wants to clinch. A telegraphed right hand from Bunce misses the target. Bunce bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Llavicrep's head. Bunce bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Llavicrep's head backwards.
Llavicrep is rocked! Llavicrep misses with an uppercut. Bunce saw that one coming.

Bunce misses with a hook to the body
and Llavicrep makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A punch combination from Llavicrep misses. Bunce takes a swing at Llavicrep's ribcage but misses. Llavicrep throws a jab when Bunce was well out of range. Bunce connects with a body shot. Llavicrep closes the distance and clinches up with Bunce, looking for a takedown. Llavicrep pushes Bunce against the cage but Bunce circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Llavicrep walks into a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Llavicrep doesn't manage to clinch there - Bunce circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Bunce. Llavicrep pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bunce back to the cage. Llavicrep follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Phill Bunce has been cut. Phill Bunce is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sloppy strikes from Bunce. Those never looked like landing. The fighters circling - Bunce throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bunce sends Llavicrep crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bunce is motioning to the referee to let Llavicrep up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Bunce is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Llavicrep fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bunce manages to avoid it. Bunce gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Llavicrep counters with a crisp one two that drops Bunce! Llavicrep thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bunce to his feet! Bunce is in big trouble!
Bunce is rocked! Nice shot by Bunce. Bunce cracks Llavicrep with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Llavicrep falls to his knees and Bunce doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phill Bunce! Phill Bunce decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Saadiev. That snapped McClelland's head back.
McClelland takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Saadiev misses with an uppercut. McClelland saw that one coming. A leg kick checked by Saadiev. Dmitry Saadiev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McClelland misses with a straight left. Sloppy strikes from Saadiev. Those never looked like landing. A clash of legs there as Saadiev blocks the low kick. McClelland slips under a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saadiev digs a good hook to McClelland's body.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McClelland has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Saadiev swings for the body but McClelland moves out of range.

McClelland uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Saadiev. Saadiev throws a hook but McClelland blocks it. McClelland shoots in for a double leg but Saadiev sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dmitry Saadiev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan McClelland. No joy there for Saadiev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Saadiev throws the left hand but McClelland avoids the punch easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Saadiev lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Saadiev comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Saadiev swings for the body but McClelland moves out of range.

McClelland shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saadiev but Saadiev pushes him off and we're back to square one. McClelland takes one to the side of the head.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McClelland might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Saadiev has got the better of the exchanges. McClelland finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Saadiev throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on McClelland's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Saadiev dives in looking to finish as McClelland flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Saadiev's strikes! Saadiev is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! McClelland's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but McClelland was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dmitry Saadiev! Dmitry Saadiev bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it. Bryan McClelland was interviewed post fight and said 'I think it's funny he knew I was going to do that!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitehope closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kane is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Whitehope looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kane with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Whitehope throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kane is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Whitehope scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kane is trying to get back to full guard. Whitehope lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Whitehope seems to be working for a kimura but Kane defends the submission attempt. The fighters are battling for position here. Kane manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Whitehope doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Whitehope manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Whitehope postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Whitehope working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kane's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Whitehope lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Whitehope lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Whitehope postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kane keeping full guard, as Whitehope tries to pass. Whitehope missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kane has momentary wrist control but Whitehope slips an elbow through the middle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whitehope connects with a couple of short punches.

Kane had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Whitehope defends it easily. Whitehope is looking to work some ground and pound but Kane has wrist control. Kane seems to have got his legs back now. After the fight, Mark Whitehope was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain with a lazy takedown attempt and Khan counters with a nice uppercut. Pain misses with a takedown attempt so Khan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pain trying to control the position.
Khan lands a couple of elbows. Pain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Khan's guard. Khan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Pain preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pain trying to keep a closed guard but Khan is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan wants to control from the top but Pain keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Khan is aware though and is defending well. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pain's half guard. Pain has hold of Khan's hands but Khan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Khan is looking for a kimura but Pain is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Khan to get the leverage. Khan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pain does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Pain looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Genghis Khan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pain is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Khan pulls his head out easily. Khan wants to take a breather but Pain is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pain is defending against the submission attempts here by Khan.

Khan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pain manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Khan has Pain in his guard. Pain wants to control from the top but Khan keeps moving. Khan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Pain has passed into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pain is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Khan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Khan struggling a bit here. Pain is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Khan has escaped the position, nice work there. Khan manages to work his way to half guard, despite Pain's best efforts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Khan tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pain has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Khan tries to hold on but Pain postures up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Khan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
And that's the end of the fight! Genghis Khan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Khan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Winnfield displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Payne throws out the jab. Winnfield throws a body punch but Payne moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Payne. Winnfield does a little dance to reset his feet. Winnfield misses with a wild body shot. Winnfield displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Payne throws out the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Payne throws a combination that misses and Winnfield counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Payne looks winded! It looks like Winnfield has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Winnfield lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Payne falls backwards - clearly groggy! Winnfield dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
