The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeStefano thuds a left hand into The 's body.
DeStefano misses with a wild body shot.
The fires out a quick counter leg kick but DeStefano just manages to avoid it.
DeStefano connects with the punch.
DeStefano catches The with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

DeStefano closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
DeStefano scores with a shot to the side of The 's head.
The drops down looking for an ankle pick but DeStefano pulls his leg out and moves away.
The shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts DeStefano as he jumps to the side.
DeStefano lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

DeStefano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends The sprawling to the canvas! The rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can DeStefano finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh The is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

DeStefano fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The , pushing him back against the cage.

The goes for a takedown attempt but DeStefano pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Basquiat looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Basquiat on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tyraanicao. Tyraanicao obviously looking to wear him down.
A head kick misses from Tyraanicao.
Jean Michel Basquiat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Basquiat throws out a loose jab but Tyraanicao uses good head movement to avoid it.
Some bone on bone action there as Tyraanicao checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

It looks like Bostar Tyraanicao has been cut.
A combination from Basquiat does no damage.

Tyraanicao walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Basquiat ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Tyraanicao's jaw. Tyraanicao's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Basquiat does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

MCconnor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to avoid it but MCconnor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogers to the ground. Rogers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rogers slaps away a takedown attempt from MCconnor, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rogers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. MCconnor sprawls well initially but Rogers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
