Melo shoots in and gets a takedown into Khan's guard.
Melo drops back looking for a leg! Khan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Khan manages to kick Melo off! Melo jumps back into Khan's guard.

Melo is working to tighten his grip on Khan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Khan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Melo is really squeezing tight and eventually Khan passes out! Melo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Carlyle fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rogers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Geralt Of Rivia decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Heath fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Heath connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shepard. Shepard circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Shepard has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Shepard goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Heath crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shepard - the referee stops the clock and Heath gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shepard. Heath manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Shepard does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
