The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mudgett will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones dodges the punch combination from Mudgett.

Lombard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mazzuca sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lombard somewhat. Lombard checks a low kick from Mazzuca. A lazy left from Mazzuca finds it's target. Lombard fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mazzuca stuffs the takedown. Lombard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mazzuca paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mazzuca tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lombard is looking to take a break and control but Mazzuca is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Mazzuca's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lombard misses with a takedown attempt and Mazzuca counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mazzuca feints and then cracks Lombard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lombard down. Lombard gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lombard tries to keep at a distance but Mazzuca has taken the fight into the clinch. Lombard is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mazzuca to keep the fight standing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lombard has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mazzuca after a bit of a struggle.

Lombard is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mazzuca scores with a jab to the jaw. Oh Lombard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

We've been hearing good reports from Wuzz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Wuzz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Osiris with a flurry of punches that miss. Osiris trying to control the position from guard on top but Wuzz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Osiris gets to his feet - Wuzz follows without any prompting. Wuzz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Osiris sprawls well initially but Wuzz persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wuzz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Osiris has managed to free his arm - good work. Osiris wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wuzz, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wuzz tries to improve position but can't. Wuzz prevents Osiris from moving into mount. Osiris is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wuzz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wuzz is trying to improve his position. Wuzz misses with an elbow from the bottom. Osiris goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wuzz has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Osiris but great work by Wuzz. Wuzz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wuzz postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Wuzz goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Osiris rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Wuzz's guard! Nice work there by Osiris! Osiris trying to control but Wuzz is working from the bottom.

Osiris works his way back into a safe position though. Osiris wants to control from the top but Wuzz keeps moving. Wuzz has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Osiris should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Wuzz has tightened it up now! Osiris should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Hunter might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Hunter looks to land a right hand but Diaz moved out of range. Hunter misses with a left hand and Diaz counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.

I think Chu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gotta Catch Em All. Tom Hardy struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Tom Hardy will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Chu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hardy feints the counter takedown. Chu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hardy sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hardy is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Oooooh!!! Chu has knocked Hardy down with a huge combo! Chu steps away and waves a wobbly Hardy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Hardy is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chu weaves into range and cracks Hardy right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Hardy goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Chu is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

It looks like John Doe has been cut. Doe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight. A nice leg kick lands there from Muria. Doe cracks Muria with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Le Muria has been cut. Doe forces Muria back against the cage and clinches. Doe throws an elbow that misses.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Doe. Muria dodges an elbow strike from Doe.
Muria escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Doe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Muria swats him away and circles back towards the center. Doe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Doe misses with a lunging right hand
and Muria counters with a straight right hand. Muria scores with a body shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Muria tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Doe was well out of range. Poor timing from Muria. Doe tries to clinch up but Muria circles away and keeps his distance. Doe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Muria manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Muria keeps the fight on the outside. Good leg kick by Muria there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A bone on bone clash there as Doe blocks the leg kick.
It looked like Doe wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe tries to clinch up but Muria circles away and keeps his distance. Doe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Muria looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Muria working aggressively here.
A head punch on the inside from Muria fails to land. Muria tries to break free but Doe pushes him back against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Doe throws an elbow but misses. Muria avoids a wild elbow strike from Doe. Doe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short left from Doe. A nice glancing elbow lands by Doe. Muria is trying to break free. Doe lands an elbow that stopped Muria in his tracks for a moment. Muria misses with the head strike.
