The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter misses with an uppercut
enabling Chu to counter with a crisp jab.
Chu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Baxter throws out a loose jab but Chu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chu cracks Baxter with a good jab.
Baxter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Baxter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Chu lands with a hook. Baxter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Freddy Baxter has been cut.
Chu misses with a jab to the body
and Baxter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Chu scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Baxter is rocked!
Chu darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Baxter's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Chu before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pika Chu!
A very excited looking Pika Chu made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moraes misses with a body punch
and Carroll cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carroll moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A slow jab from Carroll misses its intended target.
Moraes throws a front kick aimed at Carroll's knee but Carroll avoids it well.
Carroll was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Moraes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Moraes tries to free his leg and advance position but Carroll is retaining full guard.
Moraes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Carroll on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carroll tries to get out of the position.

Carroll wants to stand up but Moraes is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moraes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Carroll darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Rony Moraes has been cut.
Carroll checks a leg kick.
Carroll throws a big counter combination but Moraes scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Moraes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Carroll.
Carroll throws a looping overhand right but Moraes ducks down to avoid it.
Andy Carroll is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carroll cracks Moraes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Moraes shoots in looking for a takedown. Carroll tries to sprawl out of it but Moraes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carroll manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oooooh!!! Carroll has knocked Moraes down with a huge combo! Carroll steps away and waves a wobbly Moraes back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moraes throws a predictable looking body shot
and Carroll scores with a counter punch that sends Moraes to the canvas! Carroll smells blood - he's punishing Moraes with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Moraes has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Andy Carroll decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

McColgan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Farrelly will feel that in the morning.
McColgan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McColgan there as he acknowledges the shot.
McColgan throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Seamus Farrelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farrelly throws a right hand that McColgan ducks under and follows up with a left that McColgan also avoids with ease.
A head kick misses from Farrelly.
McColgan lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Seamus Farrelly has been cut.

and McColgan counters with an inside leg kick.
Farrelly scores with a sloppy right hand. McColgan should have avoided that one.
McColgan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and McColgan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McColgan thumps Farrelly with a low kick.
Farrelly walks into a straight right hand from McColgan.
A slapping body kick lands there for McColgan.
Farrelly is breathing heavily.
Farrelly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McColgan was well out of range. Poor timing from Farrelly.
McColgan tries to land a front kick but Farrelly steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Farrelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McColgan moves away.
McColgan pushes Farrelly away with a front kick.
McColgan drops Farrelly with a straight right hand, right on the button! McColgan follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

During a confident post fight interview, Rocky McColgan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
