1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nero Padilla! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan thuds a left hand into Padilla's body. Khan scores with a hook to the body. Padilla takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Khan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Padilla stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gerry Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Padilla takes a shot right to the bread basket. Khan throws a body shot but no joy. Khan is looking to wear down Padilla with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Khan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Padilla has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Khan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Padilla to score an easy takedown into full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Padilla trying to control but Khan is working from the bottom. Padilla has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Diamond Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Padilla throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Khan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Padilla working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Khan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Khan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Padilla has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Khan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Khan throws a body shot but no joy. Padilla looks to land a left hand but Khan moved out of range nicely. Padilla throws a right and a left that Khan avoids nicely. Khan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Khan digs a good hook to Padilla's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khan clobbers Padilla with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Khan misses with the combination.

Padilla swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Khan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Khan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Padilla moves away. Khan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Is there anything that Padilla can do to turn this around? Khan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Padilla manages to avoid it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Khan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Khan moves out of range of the strikes. Khan takes a swing at Padilla's ribcage but misses.

Padilla misses with a takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Khan cracks the inside of Padilla's front leg. Padilla swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Khan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Khan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Padilla. Padilla circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Padilla misses with a telegraphed body shot

Khan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Padilla. That did some damage! Padilla jabbing away but nothing is landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Khan connects with the perfect overhand right and Padilla falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Khan!

Gerry Khan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neidhart shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Neidhart showed some decent athleticism there. Chiarmanda is looking to control Neidhart's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chiarmanda avoid being mounted? Neidhart is working for a kimura but Chiarmanda is defending it quite comfortably.
Chiarmanda felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Chiarmanda is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Neidhart throwing shots but Chiarmanda is blocking nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chiarmanda is working for an escape here. Chiarmanda is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Neidhart is looking to cinch up a triangle. Chiarmanda throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Neidhart's body to avoid the submission. Neidhart has instead reached around Chiarmanda's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Neidhart arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Cain misses with a hook. Cain cracks Doyle with an open hand slap. Cain just misses with a punch to the body.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... The Steel Penn! A very excited looking The Steel Penn rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Those never looked like landing. Carlyle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shepard circles away quickly and effectively. Carlyle doesn't succeed with the takedown and Shepard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Shepard throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shepard misses with a body kick. Carlyle shoots for a double leg takedown but Shepard sprawls well. He's pushed Carlyle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Shepard throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heath with a nice cross. Heath shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Heath controlling from the guard. Heath might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boshtok haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Boshtok manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Heath manages to get himself to full guard.

Heath defending well though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heath is refusing to be controlled, as Boshtok sits in half guard. Heath wants to get back to full guard. Heath is staying active underneath Boshtok, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Heath felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Heath gets full guard. Heath keeping moving, preventing Boshtok from controlling successfully. Boshtok content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Yuri Boshtok dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Heath thows a leg kick but Boshtok checks it and Boshtok counters with a left right combination that sends Heath crashing to the mat - Boshtok wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Heath out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
