Laprise frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Laprise jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Qazi manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Laprise has hold of Qazi's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Qazi seems comfortable defending it but Laprise has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Qazi is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Qazi is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Laprise couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Paul takes a swing at Caesar's ribcage but misses.
Caesar attempts a counter takedown but Paul avoids it well and moves away.
Paul throws a series of punches but Caesar avoids them all with ease.

Paul has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Paul looks to land a body kick but Caesar moved away.
Paul feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
