The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobby lands a jab.
Bobby connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silva's hands.

Bobby tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.
Silva wants a takedown but no success here.
Silva fails to pull guard.
Bobby tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
Silva jumps guard but Bobby stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ricky Bobby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murilo Silva.

Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva slips a straight right by Bobby.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bobby.
Silva moves out of range as Bobby strikes.

Bobby lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Bobby thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Murilo Silva has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bobby cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bobby has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silva to stand back up!
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Bobby finish him?
Bobby checks a leg kick.

Bobby drops Silva with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Silva looks back up at him and smiles so Bobby waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bobby fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Silva square on the jaw! Damn, Silva is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between PierreLuc Beaulieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beaulieu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Disturbed, Indestructible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Beaulieu lands a big head kick that sends Kingston tumbling to the mat! Beaulieu takes a step backwards and waves Kingston back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kingston shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Beaulieu's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Refn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Refn wants it to stay on the feet.
