The bell rings for round one and we are underway! wang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jordan shoots in and bounces wang off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. wang throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
wang had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jordan defends it easily. Jordan wants to get up but he can't break wang's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. wang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jordan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jordan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! wang has his foot on Jordan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jordan works his way back into a safe position though. wang has momentary wrist control but Jordan slips an elbow through the middle. Jordan wants to stand but wang has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. wang keeping full guard, as Jordan tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. wang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jordan manages to get himself to full guard.
wang looks gassed! Jordan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! wang wants to control from the top but Jordan keeps moving. Jordan is looking for a triangle but wang pushes his legs off easily.

Jordan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for wang on the ground. Jordan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. wang is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jordan.

But no, Jordan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for wang but great work by Jordan. Jordan wants to lay and pray for a moment but wang keeps working. Jordan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by wang, who protects the arm well. Jordan stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jordan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Jordan scores with a decent looking elbow strike. wang is working an open guard so Jordan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. wang shoots and misses and Jordan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for wang! wang tries to improve his position but instead Jordan has taken his back! Jordan lands shots from the back. wang tries to escape the position.
Jordan scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jordan is persistently looking for the submission but wang is defending it well.

wang is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jordan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jordan has escaped and now he's on top! Jordan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jordan got a little sloppy there for a moment and wang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jordan has managed to get both his arms back between wang's legs - danger averted. Jordan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jordan working away. Jordan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jordan stands up and we're back to a striking position. wang misses with a takedown attempt and Jordan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jordan. Jordan gets control of wang's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jordan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. wang wants to control from the top but Jordan keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miles is trying to escape the position but Thunder is controlling the position. Miles tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thunder wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Thunder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Miles turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Thunder off and cradles Miles's limp body as Thunder celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw swats away the attempt to clinch by Paterson. Paterson throws a series of punches but Shaw moves out of range. Paterson misses with the combination.
Shaw tries for a takedown but Paterson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Paterson looks to land a left hand but Shaw moved out of range nicely. Paterson lands a really nice looking cross but Shaw seems unphased.

It looks like Steven Shaw has been cut. Shaw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Paterson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shaw somewhat. Paterson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Shaw counters with a left to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paterson cracks Shaw with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Paterson looks to clinch and Shaw counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paterson is looking for a sweep. Shaw is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Shaw is looking for a kimura but Paterson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Shaw to get the leverage. Shaw is thwarting Paterson's attempts to control the position. Paterson is looking to improve his position.
Paterson is looking to escape. Shaw moves nicely into side control. Shaw is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Paterson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Shaw gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Paterson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Shaw lets go of the hold and Paterson can pop his arm back in it's socket.

It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Keshrenov, as he picks up the win!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with HOOD in particular looking to stall. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! HOOD slips a jab and a cross from Gump.
Gump throws a pinpoint strike between HOOD's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends HOOD crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Gump scores a great knockout victory!
