The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De La Morte throws a poor cross that misses
and Alfredsson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. De La Morte throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice shot by Alfredsson. De La Morte lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alfredsson circles away quickly and effectively. A good leg kick by Alfredsson. Alfredsson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Alfredsson misses with an uppercut. Alfredsson slips under a jab from De La Morte. De La Morte avoids the head kick by Alfredsson.
De La Morte stalks Alfredsson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Alfredsson's face. Alfredsson staggers backwards, shaken. Alfredsson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. De La Morte looks to land a right hand but Alfredsson moved out of range. Alfredsson throws a looping overhand right but De La Morte ducks down to avoid it. De La Morte throws a big counter combination but Alfredsson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. We've been informed that Alfredsson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Alfredsson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little jabbing left from Alfredsson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Alfredsson connects with a solid leg kick. De La Morte misses with a straight right. Capriotti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jalovaara was well out of range. Poor timing from Capriotti. Jalovaara throws a hook but Capriotti avoids it easily. Capriotti does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jalovaara thinks about countering with a body kick. Jalovaara throws a body punch but Capriotti moves out of range. Nikolay Capriotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jalovaara scores with the left hand. Capriotti knows he should have avoided that one. Capriotti fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jalovaara circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Capriotti drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Jalovaara follows Capriotti to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thory uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blood.
A little feinted left hand from Thory on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Blood connects with an inside leg kick. Thory throws a head kick but Blood moves out of range.
Thory closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Thory missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Thory has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Thory thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Thory trying to control the action but Blood is working from the bottom. Thory sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Blood is rocked! Blood walks straight into a right hand from Thory - that's dropped him! Thory jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Blood from any more punishment! Blood complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
