1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gaius Julius Caesar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan James! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James fails to land the takedown. Caesar swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. James has his takedown stuffed and Caesar counters with a takedown into side control. James taking a bit of punishment here - Caesar scoring with strikes. James tries to buck Caesar off but Caesar is having none of it. James seems a little lost for a moment, as Caesar dominates the positioning. Caesar working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. James is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. James keeps control of the position for the meantime. Well, if Caesar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Caesar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. James is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Caesar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed James's head. Caesar controlling the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Caesar slaps away a takedown attempt from James, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gaius Julius Caesar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan James. Caesar stuffs the takedown attempt from James. James gets slowly back to his feet. James tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Caesar defends well and James ends up having to push Caesar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Caesar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caesar shoots in and bounces James off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if James can do anything to dispel that myth. Caesar scoring with some ground and pound. Caesar controls from within his opponent's guard. James wants to sweep but no luck. Caesar stays in close to James's body and controls the position. Caesar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. James is keeping the position for now. James can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Caesar controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet. Caesar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Caesar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! James has his hands on Caesar's head, controlling the position. James trying to keep a closed guard but Caesar is proving a slippery customer.

James connects with a couple of short punches. James in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Caesar wants to get back to his feet but James is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Caesar wants to sweep here but James controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Caesar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in James's guard.

James is trying to control the position but Caesar postures up. Caesar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. James seems keen to control Caesar's posture. James controls Caesar momentarily but Caesar frees himself. Caesar wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gaius Julius Caesar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Caesar darts in and clinches James up against the cage. Caesar is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that James can do to turn this around? Both guys are working to get underhooks. James fails to pull the fight into his guard.

He's now in Caesar's guard. Nice move by James! Hammerfist, elbow! yells James's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Caesar is trying to control the position but James postures up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Caesar is on top in guard.

Caesar has hold of one of James's legs. James is fighting the takedown attempt but Caesar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Caesar stays in close to James's body and controls the position. James looking to hit a scissor sweep but Caesar is one step ahead there. Caesar postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stepp connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Drago's hands. Stepp tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Drago counter with a right hand. Stepp is looking to clinch but Drago is avoiding it.
Drago fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stepp takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Stepp throws an overhand right that lands on Drago's shoulder, as Drago tries to avoid the shot. The fight stays on the outside here - Stepp looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A combination from Drago does no damage. Stepp moves in looking to clinch but Drago pushes him off. Drago throws a right and a left that both miss. Stepp avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stepp moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stepp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drago manages to avoid it. Moses Stepp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drago drops his hands momentarily and Stepp takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Drago swats away the attempt to clinch by Stepp. Drago with a nice cross. Stepp has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MadDogs Road House in the buildup to the fight. Drago steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stepp. Stepp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drago manages to avoid it. Drago keeps the fight on the outside. Drago lands a glancing blow to the side of Stepp's head.
It looks like Moses Stepp has been cut. Stepp drops his hands momentarily and Drago takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Good standup being displayed there by Stepp as he connects with a hook. A jab from Drago misses. Stepp shoots in looking for a takedown. Drago tries to sprawl out of it but Stepp keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drago manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stepp takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Drago throws a big shot that misses. An attempted straight right counter from Stepp misses the target. Drago looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stepp tries to clinch there but Drago circles away.

Stepp wants to clinch up but Drago keeps it at a distance. Stepp thows a left - swing and a miss! Drago lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Ivan Drago dominated that round. The cut man is working on Moses Stepp's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stepp with a hook. Good shot there by Stepp. Ivan Drago is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stepp throws a lazy right hand but Drago sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Drago misses with the combination.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Drago! But no joy. A slow jab from Stepp misses its intended target. A jab from Drago misses. Drago connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stepp's hands. Nice jab there from Drago. Stepp is looking to clinch but Drago is avoiding it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stepp tries to clinch but Drago moves away and Drago counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stepp is rocked! Drago goes for a small jab and connects. Now Drago goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Stepp stumbles back but Drago runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Stepp to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Stepp will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ivan Drago! Post fight, an emotional Ivan Drago said '"I fight to win!" "For me!" "For me!"'. Moses Stepp was interviewed post fight and said 'Never gonna stop gotta kill me first.'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Good leg kick by Doe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Danga de danga de dang - Stone scores with a four punch combination! Doe throws a half hearted mid kick. We've been told by Stone's head coaches at Gorilla Warfare MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Doe looks for the body kick but Stone saw that one coming. A leg kick checked by Stone. Doe lands a head kick. Stone smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Doe takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Doe wants to slow Stone down by chopping away at his legs. Stone throws the left hand but Doe avoids the punch easily. Doe steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Stone. Stone walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Doe drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Stone swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Doe's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harold Stone! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bukasa thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Flint if he has to take too many more of those.
Flint has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Flint shoots and misses and Bukasa counters with a thumping low kick. Flint misses the shot to the body. Flint attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. A decent looking body kick lands there for Bukasa. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bukasa.

We've been told by Bukasa's head coaches at ROCK-A-FELLA FIGHT CLUB that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Flint takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. This has been an exciting period of action! Flint tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Flint chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bukasa can pounce on him.
Flint looks to land a combination but Bukasa avoids it well. Bukasa throws a head kick but Flint moves out of range.
Bukasa throws a sloppy head kick and Flint counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bukasa looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Can Bukasa finish him? Flint loads up on a big right hand but Bukasa slips the punch. Crunch! Bukasa slams his shin into Flint's torso. Flint has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Bukasa. Bukasa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Flint's sensitive parts. Bukasa keeps Flint at a distance using the push kick. Flint takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. A solid leg kick lands there for Bukasa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick from Pow misses. Pow fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Barca checks it well. Barca shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Barca connects with a nice short shot to Pow's temple. Barca working over Pow with some ground and pound. Pow looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Barca slips a nice elbow through Pow's hands, connecting with Pow's forehead. Pow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Barca pulls his head out easily. Barca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Gerber as Lee shoots in. It looked like Gerber wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Gerber throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it. Lee has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gerber is landing a low percentage of strikes. Lee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gerber did well to prevent Lee getting side control. Gerber is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Disciples Top Team , so we'll see if he gets out of it. Gerber actively working from the bottom here. Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Gerber looking for submissions from an awkward position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gerber is staying active underneath Lee, who seems content to just control the action from this position. That sent Maia stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Al Haddad scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Al Haddad misses with a left hand and Maia counters with a takedown into side control. Al Haddad is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Midnight MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
