De Macoris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diaz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diaz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
De Macoris is trying to keep Diaz in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz is looking to work some ground and pound but De Macoris has wrist control.
De Macoris is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Diaz frees his head nicely. Oh but De Macoris has switched to an armbar! Diaz is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Wilson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Peerson avoids it really well and circles away.

Peerson looks to land a left hand but Wilson moved out of range nicely.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Peerson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wilson back to the cage. Peerson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Peerson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wilson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Peerson scrambles back to his feet.

No joy there for Peerson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Peerson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Peerson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson moves away.
Wilson lands with a big left! Peerson is wobbled badly! Wilson comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Peerson to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
