The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Singh is fending him off so far but Powers persists. Nope, Singh circles away and we're back to standing.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round but I would say that Troy Powers will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Powers goes for a double leg but Singh avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Singh continues to drive forward.

Powers scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Singh to see if he's OK.
