The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snorre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Black drives through and clinches with Snorre against the cage.
Black's coach down at Midnight MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Black's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Snorre shoots in looking for a takedown. Black tries to sprawl out of it but Snorre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Black manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Snorre pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Black back to the cage. Snorre follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Black gets caught napping as Snorre dives in and scores a takedown. Black manages to retain guard.
Snorre wants to stand but Black has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Snorre is looking to work some ground and pound but Black has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black is breathing heavily.
Snorre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

It looks like Snorre is going to stand back up.

Snorre has control of Black's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Black regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Snorre can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Black is looking to escape.

Snorre is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Black is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Black is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Snorre throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Black because Snorre loaded up on that one.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Snorre is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Black can do to turn this around?

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Black crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Snorre - the referee stops the clock and Black gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Snorre. Black manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Snorre throws a monster overhand right that drops Black! Snorre follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Exum went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Yosemite throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Twitchy Yosemite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yosemite leaves Exum with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yosemite works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Yosemite moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Exum takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oh Exum is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yosemite closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Exum! Yosemite dives in looking to finish! Exum is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Law fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bresnar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Law pushes Bresnar away with a front kick.
Law misses with a head kick.
Bresnar missing with a left hand there. Law was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Law lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bresnar takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Bresnar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Law swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Law lands a head kick. Bresnar smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bresnar throws a right and a left that both miss.

Law lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bresnar takes a step back to recover.
Bresnar seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

A head kick by Law - that's a beauty! Bresnar is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Law can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Graves shoots in for a double leg but Cartmen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Graves shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cartmen napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Graves is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cartmen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cartmen has escaped and now he's on top!

Cartmen wants to pass the guard but Graves is keeping the position.

The fighters circle, before Cartmen throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Graves's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Cartmen lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

During a confident post fight interview, Eric Cartmen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Erikksen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Grant working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Erikksen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Erikksen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grant looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Erikksen is defending well. Grant quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Erikksen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Grant celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
