The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brito closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kiser tries to clinch up but Brito circles away and keeps his distance.
Kiser shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brito sprawls well. Brito wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kiser gets slowly back to his feet.
Brito throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kiser.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kiser! But no joy.
Kiser misses with a head kick.
Kiser avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brito throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've been told by Brito's head coaches at KY GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Brito rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kiser moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brito lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brito.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brito will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
