Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Brite! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Croy! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Croy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brite manages to avoid it. Brite misses with a hook. Croy ducked under it nicely. Croy lands a nice hook to Brite's body. Brite takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Croy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brite did well to prevent Croy getting side control. Brite wants to get back to his feet. Croy moves nicely into side control. Croy tries to score with some ground and pound. Brite controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Brite is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Croy is controlling him well. Croy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Brite dodges the ground and pound from Croy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Croy tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Croy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Croy trying to control the action but Brite is working from the bottom. Croy wants to stand but Brite has his arm trapped. Brite wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Croy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brite is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Croy working the ground and pound but Brite is defending the strikes. Croy throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Brite is trying to get back to his feet. Brite is looking for a sweep.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Croy moves out of range of the leg kick from Brite. Croy throws a low kick but it's checked well by Brite. Brite misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Brite throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Croy sees it coming and avoids it easily. Croy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Croy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brite doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Croy. Croy seems to be looking for submissions.

Brite is not content to let Croy control the position. Brite makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brite misses with a looping right. Horrible takedown by Croy or perhaps it was just good defense by Brite which made him look bad. Brite clinches. Brite throws a hook but Croy avoids it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Croy. Brite shoots in and bounces Croy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Croy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brite defends well. Croy is breathing heavily. Brite stands and steps away. Croy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brite's corner calls for a 1-2. Brite obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Brite lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Croy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brite as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Croy defending well as Brite loads up on a big left hand. Croy shoots and misses and Brite connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Alex Brite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Croy. Some wild striking there from Brite.
Brite loads up on a big right hand but Croy slips the punch. Brite misses with a hook. Brite misses the jab. Brite tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A leg kick checked by Croy. Brite misses with a straight left.

Croy fails with the takedown and Brite counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brite.

The ref calls for Croy to stand up.
And that's the end of the fight! Alex Brite showed his dominance in that final round. Well Brite has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McRae swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McRae chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jokinen can pounce on him.
McRae closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jokinen to the mat! Jokinen manages to get full guard. McRae chips away with some ground and pound. Jokinen controls McRae momentarily but McRae frees himself. Jokinen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McRae! Jokinen has control of McRae's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McRae regains control of the situation pretty easily.

McRae is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McRae is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jokinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Singleton.
Singleton throws out a loose jab but Mata uses good head movement to avoid it. Mata wants to clinch up but Singleton keeps it at a distance. Mata uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. No joy there for Singleton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

James Polk is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hicks pulls Polk in close to his closed guard and prevents Polk from doing any damage or advancing position.

Llamer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Godraker sprawls well initially but Llamer persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Llamer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Godraker blocking the ground and pound attempt from Llamer. Godraker is trying to get back to full guard. Godraker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
