I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Angle Iron was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Iron shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Anywhere seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Georlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Rouge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Rouge struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Alex Rouge will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Rouge's coach down at Last Dragon MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rouge's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Rouge buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Georlev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Georlev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Georlev drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Georlev seems to have locked his on tight now - Rouge screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Georlev, as he picks up the win!
