The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jelani shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jelani sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pray defending well though. Pray works his way to full guard. Good work. Pray is pulling down on Jelani's head. It's preventing any offense from Jelani, at least for the moment. Pray manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Pray tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jelani defends well and Pray ends up having to push Jelani into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pray shoots and misses and Jelani counters with a thumping low kick. No luck for Pray with that takedown attempt. Jabari Jelani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lay Pray. Pray tries for a takedown but Jelani sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jelani tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pray's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Is there anything that Pray can do to turn this around? Let's hope that Pray has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Pray perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jelani has hold of Pray's hands but Pray slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Pray is just content to waste time from the top position. Jelani takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Jelani wants to sweep but no luck. Pray trying to control but Jelani is working from the bottom. Pray throws a big elbow that misses. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jelani being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jelani slaps away a takedown attempt from Pray, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jelani rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pray moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pray takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sarfo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bang throws a series of punches but Sarfo moves out of range. Sarfo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bang misses with a wild combination.

Stand Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sarfo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Sarfo. Bang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Denzel Sarfo has been cut. Bang throws a right and a left that Sarfo avoids nicely. Bang looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sarfo lunges at Bang with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bang's hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sarfo circles away from the clinch attempt.
It seemed like Sarfo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Sarfo swings for the body but Bang moves out of range.

Oh, that's unlucky for Suhonen but great work by Sikaniska. Suhonen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Suhonen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jyllendael looks to land a body kick but Page moved away. Page attempts a counter takedown but Jyllendael avoids it well and moves away. We've been told by Page's head coaches at VENDETTA Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jyllendael goes for a double leg but Page avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Page continues to drive forward. Jyllendael displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Page. Despite the aggression on Jyllendael's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Page keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Page appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Page shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Matt Black has been cut. Black keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from West. Black uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from West. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Black has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Nice uppercut lands for West. That snapped Black's head back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Deadflame scores with the left hand. Nevsky knows he should have avoided that one. Nevsky tries a head kick but it misses.
Nevsky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Deadflame's guard. Nevsky connects with a couple of short punches. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Deadflame is on top in guard.

27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tallak Hrolf ! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leben takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Leben tries to clinch but Hrolf moves away and Hrolf decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Leben's guard. Hrolf forces his way into half guard. Leben keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hrolf throwing shots but Leben is blocking nicely. Hrolf slips a nice elbow through Leben's hands, connecting with Leben's forehead. Leben is looking to control Hrolf 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Leben avoid being mounted? Leben is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at HARRY'S, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Hrolf controlling the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hrolf winds up and cracks Leben with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hrolf trying to control the action but Leben is working from the bottom.

Leben is trying to get back to full guard. Hrolf has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hrolf working Leben over with strikes. Hrolf sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Leben defending well though. Hrolf thows a huge punch but Leben dodges it nicely.

Hrolf fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leben sprawls well initially but Hrolf persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hrolf passes to full mount! Leben bucks up and throws Hrolf to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hrolf takes a kick to the side of the head. Leben pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hrolf cracks Leben with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Chris Leben has been cut. Leben moves forwards but Hrolf connects with a nice, crisp jab. Hrolf closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Leben! Hrolf dives in looking to finish! Leben is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
