The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Minotauro does it's job there.
It looks like Stanislaw Dziuk has been cut. A clash of legs there as Minotauro blocks the low kick. Dziuk takes one to the chin there. A head kick by Minotauro misses and Dziuk counters with a two punch combo. Minotauro throws an overhand right that lands on Dziuk's shoulder, as Dziuk tries to avoid the shot. Minotauro throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Dziuk showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Minotauro.
Dziuk tried to counter with a leg kick but Minotauro avoided it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dziuk keeps the fight on the outside. Minotauro tries to clinch up and Dziuk counters with a three punch combo that has Minotauro backing up. Minotauro nods at Dziuk to acknowledge the strikes.

A head kick by Minotauro misses and Dziuk counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Dziuk on the wrong end of a nice hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dziuk walks into a jab.

Dziuk throws a leg kick but Minotauro sees it coming and checks it nicely. Despite the aggression on Minotauro's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Dziuk scores with a kick to the body.
Dziuk throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Minotauro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dziuk circles away quickly and effectively. Minotauro falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dziuk counters with a two punch combo. Dziuk walks into a jab.

Dziuk ducks under a wild hook from Minotauro. Dziuk checks a leg kick. Minotauro checks the leg kick nicely there.
Dziuk scores with a slapping inside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Minotauro thows a left - swing and a miss! Minotauro shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dziuk eats them both and turns towards Minotauro to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Dziuk tries to land a leg kick but Minotauro saw it coming and moves away.

Stanislaw Dziuk's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Minotauro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dziuk went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Minotauro drives through and clinches with Dziuk against the cage.

Minotauro swings wildly with an uppercut but Dziuk uses good head movement to avoid it. Dziuk looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Minotauro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dziuk paws at him with a jab and circles away. Minotauro fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jeez, Stanislaw Dziuk's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Minotauro misses with a straight right. Minotauro darts in and clinches Dziuk up against the cage. Minotauro has a couple of punches blocked by Dziuk.
Minotauro throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dziuks head. Minotauro can't find room to land a body shot as Dziuk controls the action.

Minotauro slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Minotauro gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Minotauro is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dziuk pulls him back up using the underhooks. Dziuk's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Dziuk stalling in the clinch but Minotauro improves position. A head punch on the inside from Minotauro fails to land. Minotauro is looking to control Dziuk's arms but Dziuk gets an underhook and turns him. Now Minotauro has his back to the cage. Dziuk blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aicrag misses with a hook. Aicrag looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Fielding tries to clinch up but Aicrag circles away and keeps his distance. Aicrag was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Fielding explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Fielding feints and then cracks Aicrag's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aicrag down. A right-left combo lands from Fielding.
It looks like Esoj Aicrag has been cut. Fielding gets in close and instigates a clinch. Aicrag tries a body shot but Fielding blocks it.

Fielding is trying to push Aicrag away but Aicrag has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Aicrag prevents Fielding from breaking the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fielding creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Fielding is trying to break the clinch but Aicrag has him pressed against the cage. Fielding gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Aicrag regains guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fielding is looking to work some ground and pound but Aicrag has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fielding working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fielding scoring with some ground and pound. Fielding working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Aicrag's head. Fielding throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fielding postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fielding with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Fielding landing some decent shots from guard. Fielding postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Aicrag is rocked! Fielding with a flurry of punches that miss. Aicrag keeping moving, preventing Fielding from controlling successfully. Fielding is working Aicrag over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Oh Aicrag is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We've been hearing good reports from Aicrag's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Aicrag can't keep his opponent in guard - Fielding advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Aicrag seems to have got his legs back now. Fielding lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fielding sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Aicrag defending well though. Fielding perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Aicrag wants to get back to his feet.
Fielding is trying to control. Aicrag wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Fielding uses his free foot to push down on Aicrag's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Aicrag. Fielding lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fielding looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Aicrag covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

It seemed to go down pretty well. Esoj Aicrag was interviewed post fight and said 'I would like to thank all the fans for being here tonight! I'm sorry that I lost even thought I knew that I possessed the ability to win. I have learnt much from my opponent in this match and I promise to come back a stronger fighter, and I hope to be able to fight you again in the near future!'.

Dragic tries to lock up and control but Boubeez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boubeez trying to control but Dragic is having none of it. Boubeez controlling the position easily from mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boubeez is looking to take a break and control but Dragic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boubeez content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Boubeez is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dragic can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Dragic tries to bench press Boubeez off him but Boubeez keeps the position. Boubeez controlling the position. Dragic is not content to let Boubeez control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Dragic misses with a head kick.
Dragic pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dragic slaps away a takedown attempt from Boubeez, before circling back to the center of the mat. Iliek Boubeez is winning the standup battle so far. Dragic ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dragic throws a lazy head kick and Boubeez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boubeez takes one to the chin there. Boubeez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Boubeez plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Dragic swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Dragic face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Iliek Boubeez! Iliek Boubeez spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

It looks like Butter Bean has been cut. Olhoffer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bean clinches with his opponent.

25 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maximus Meridius! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meridius is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kharitonov. Kharitonov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kharitonov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Meridius misses with a knee to the head. Kharitonov digs a right hand underneath Meridius's ribcage. Meridius let out a lung full of air as it connected. Kharitonov softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kharitonov tries to work over Meridius's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Meridius wants to get back to striking at distance but Kharitonov won't allow it.
Meridius blocks a body shot from Kharitonov. Kharitonov misses with a hook to the ribs.
Meridius misses with a knee to the head. Kharitonov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Meridius can't break the clinch.
Kharitonov misses with a hook from the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kharitonov lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Kharitonov working some nice short punches in the clinch. Meridius blocking some punches.

Meridius breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Meridius misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meridius ducks under a wild hook from Kharitonov. Meridius scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kharitonov closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Meridius! Kharitonov dives in looking to finish! Meridius is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
