5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michal Materla! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Robinson. Those never looked like landing. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Materla has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Robinson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Materla decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Robinson's guard. Materla stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've been told by Robinson's head coaches at Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Horrible takedown attempt by Materla or perhaps it was just good defense by Robinson, which made it look bad. Materla gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Robinson counters with a two punch combo. Materla fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robinson to the ground. Materla is now in Robinson's guard. Robinson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Robinson tries to get out of the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Materla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Robinson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Robinson pulls Materla in close to his closed guard and prevents Materla from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Robinson controls Materla momentarily but Materla frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Materla sitting in guard here, content to control. Robinson keeping full guard, as Materla tries to pass. Robinson can't keep his opponent in guard - Materla advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Robinson won't allow Materla to pass to mount. Robinson is looking for a sweep. Materla is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Materla is pressing down on Robinson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Robinson is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Materla is trying for a kimura here. Robinson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Materla wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yakuza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kingston manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kingston misses with the combination.
Yakuza tries to close the distance and clinch but Kingston swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kingston scores with a jab.
Yakuza is rocked! Kingston ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Yakuza out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Karukef Kingston! An out of breath Karukef Kingston thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. Ichi Yakuza was interviewed post fight and said 'This has not been honorable. Seppuku!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshiki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hui sprawls well initially but Yoshiki persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yoshiki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hui sees it coming and defends easily. Hui preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hui avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Yoshiki. Hui is pressing down on Yoshiki's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Yoshiki loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Yoshiki is fighting to break Hui's control of his arms but Hui is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. This loss will be avenged twofold -- against my opponent first, and THEN his students!'.

Tadic sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Lin wants to work for an arm triangle but Tadic is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lin passes into half guard. Lin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lin is looking to advance position but Tadic won't allow it. Lin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tadic looking for submissions off his back. Lin wants to take a breather but Tadic is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ping Lin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tadija Tadic's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Tadic darts in looking for a takedown but Lin gets double underhooks and turns Tadic into the cage. A kick lands to the mid section there for Lin. Lin lands a jab to Tadic's midsection. Lin lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tadic moves away. Tadic appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A head kick misses from Lin. Horrible takedown attempt by Tadic or perhaps it was just good defense by Lin, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tadic dives in and grabs Lin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lin pushes down on Tadic's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tadija Tadic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Lin throws a head kick that half lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tadic checks a low kick from Lin. Lin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lin misses with an uppercut. Tadic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lin sprawls well. Lin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tadic gets slowly back to his feet. Lin misses with an attempted mid kick.

Lin misses with a looping right. Tadic drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lin sprawls and moves away. Lin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Tadic moves out of range of the body kick from Lin.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Tadic displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lin throws out the jab. Tadic avoids the head kick by Lin.

and Tadic counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lin! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lin sneaks back into half guard. Tadic is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Tadic frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lin tries to lock up and control but Tadic gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Tadic throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lin escapes and throws Tadic's legs to the side, diving into side control! Tadic is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tadic struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tadic is trying to get back to half guard. Lin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Tadic is looking to regain half guard here but Lin keeps moving and retains side control. Lin trying to control the position but Tadic is working away. Lin is trying to get an arm triangle but Tadic is defending well. Tadic regains half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fairchild misses with a double jab.
Dileo tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Fairchild manages to circle out of the way. Dileo jabs at Fairchild's body. Fairchild misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fairchild gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Dileo slips a jab and a cross from Fairchild.
Fairchild throws a series of punches but Dileo avoids them all with ease. We've been told by Dileo's head coaches at Black Manta that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Dileo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Dileo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fairchild's head backwards. Dileo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Dileo lands a nice shot that snaps Fairchild's head back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fairchild looks to land a combination but Dileo avoids it well. Dileo defending well as Fairchild loads up on a big left hand. Dileo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fairchild wants to counter with a clinch but Dileo pushes him away. Some wild striking there from Fairchild.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fairchild fails to land the takedown. Dileo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. No joy there for Fairchild, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fairchild tries to bum rush Dileo with a series of wild strikes but Dileo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fairchild darts in and clinches Dileo up against the cage. Dileo pushes Fairchild back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Dileo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Dileo works on Fairchild's body with a couple of short punches. Dileo lands a damaging elbow. Dileo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fairchilds head. This has been an exciting period of action! Dileo lands an elbow inside that Fairchild shrugs off. Dileo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fairchild is trying to break free. Fairchild tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Dileo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dileo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Fairchild backwards. Dileo lands a shot to the body. Fairchild looks winded! Dileo lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A short uppercut from Dileo. Dileo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fairchilds head. Dileo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Dileo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fairchild backwards.
Fairchild is rocked! Dileo creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Fairchild with a big uppercut! Fairchild tries to clinch up but Dileo pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Fairchild to the mat! Fairchild covers up and Dileo unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Davide Dileo! Davide Dileo retains his light heavyweight title! An out of breath Davide Dileo thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
