1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mauricio Gatti! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gatti fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. ST Pierre sprawls well initially but Gatti persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gatti throwing shots but ST Pierre is blocking nicely. The fighters are battling for position here. ST Pierre manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gatti makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Gatti missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. ST Pierre is looking to stand up but Gatti isn't so interested in that idea. Gatti postures up and lands a big shot to ST Pierre's brow. Despite being in the dominant position, Mauricio Gatti just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gatti pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Gatti closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. ST Pierre did well to prevent Gatti getting side control. Georges ST Pierre has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! ST Pierre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gatti pulls his head out easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Mauricio Gatti comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gatti has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Vik slips under a jab. Vik cracks Cannon with a right hand to the side of the head. Cannon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vik swivels and escapes. A jab-cross combination lands for Vik and sends Cannon crashing to the mat! Vik follows him down to the mat - Cannon regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Colt Cannon has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vik is looking to pass the guard... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rigatoni shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by King.
King throws a nice looking combination but Rigatoni bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rigatoni shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Rigatoni keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Rigatoni seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but King does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. It looks like Jim Smithers has been cut. Machete rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smithers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
