Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Dice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Out Shadow! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shadow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dice pinned against the ropes. Dice gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. An inside leg kick lands from Dice. No luck for Shadow with that takedown attempt. Shadow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dice. Shadow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dice defends well and Shadow ends up having to push Dice into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Johnny Dice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Out Shadow. Dice rushes Shadow and presses him up against the ropes. Dice misses with a short punch on the inside. Dice tries to land a knee to the head but Shadow blocks with his arms.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dice with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Shadow works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Shadow looks winded! Shadow avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shadow throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Shadow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shadow is looking to work some ground and pound but Dice has wrist control. Shadow trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dice working for a triangle but Shadow defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dice working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shadow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shadow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dice looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Shadow stands up over Dice, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Dice working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shadow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shadow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dice is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Shadow is looking to pass into half guard but Dice pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dice is in guard. Shadow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dice's guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Shadow throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dice works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Dice working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Shadow. Dice looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

It looks like he's going for a triangle but Shadow is defending well. Dice quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Shadow has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dice celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.

It looks like Nathan Mak has been cut. Ziadouh throws a right hand that misses
and Mak counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ziadouh drops Mak with a big left hand and mounts him. Mak is in big trouble!
Mak is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Mak wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
Ziadouh trying to control but Mak is having none of it. Mak is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Ziadouh can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mak is looking to escape. Ziadouh looking to secure an arm triangle but Mak defends it well. Ziadouh won't let Mak get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crap takes one on the button. Crap misses with a hook to the body
and Zanin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Zanin blocks a low kick nicely. Zanin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Anton Zanin has been cut. Zanin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Crap thows a leg kick but Zanin checks it letting Zanin counter with a right hand. Zanin cracks Crap with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zanin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Crap to stand back up!
Crap is rocked! Zanin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zanin drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Crap's head, knocking him out cold! Zanin is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock blocks a jab. Dawg throws a front kick aimed at Rock's knee but Rock avoids it well. Rock blocks a head kick by Dawg.
Rock cracks Dawg with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
It looks like Hoolio Dawg has been cut. Dawg closes the distance and clinches. Dawg stops a takedown attempt from Rock.
Dawg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dawg thows a left - swing and a miss! Dawg takes a swing at Rock's ribcage but misses. Rock looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dawg is fending him off so far but Rock persists. Nope, Dawg circles away and we're back to standing. Rock backing away here, and Dawg unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Dawg misses with a head kick.
Rock closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dawg quickly recovers to half guard. Rock looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rock is trying to control the action in half guard but Dawg is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rock goes for a double leg but Dawg avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Dawg continues to drive forward. Dawg is looking for the big counter here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Rock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dawg rushes Rock and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Dawg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dawg digs a good body shot into Rock's ribs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dawg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. It looked like Rock was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Rock has been working on his balance at HARD WORK PAYS OFF! 11 elites Only 600, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Dawg. Rock Throws a clean left jab. Rock Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Dawg's chin! Dawg crumbles to the ground and Rock follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Rock!

Crown tries to counter with a clinch but Simpson shakes him off and moves away. Simpson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Simpson lands an overhand right. Simpson cracks Crown with a right hand to the side of the head. Simpson moves into range and connects with a jab. A head kick by Crown misses and Simpson counters with a right hand to the body. Nice sprawl there from Simpson as Crown shoots in. Crown takes one on the button. Crown pushes Simpson away with a front kick. Simpson scores with a nice strike. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Simpson is looking to clinch. Simpson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Simpson wants to clinch but Crown slips to the side and Crown counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Crown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Simpson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A nice leg kick lands there from Crown.

Crown has a takedown stuffed. Ben Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Crown. Crown wants to clinch up but Simpson keeps it at a distance. Crown takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Simpson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Crown scores with a push kick. Donk. Simpson catches Crown right on the button with a cross. Simpson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Simpson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crown manages to avoid it. Simpson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Simpson throws a sloppy head kick and Crown counters with a right hand to the body. Crown stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crown wants it to stay on the feet. Crown is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Crown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Crown appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Simpson scores with a leg kick.

Simpson seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Crown can turn it around. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Simpson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Crown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Crown gets back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Good leg kick by Crown there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

It looks like Simpson has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Simpson checks a leg kick. He's persisting with it as Crown sprawls well. Crown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Simpson gets slowly back to his feet. Simpson tries to land a front kick but Crown steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Simpson catches Crown with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Horrible takedown attempt by Crown or perhaps it was just good defense by Simpson, which made it look bad. Simpson swats away the attempt to clinch by Crown. Simpson scores with a jab. Crown acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Crown fails in his attempt to clinch. Simpson lands with a shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Simpson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Crown has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Crown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Simpson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Simpson moves out of range as Crown throws a body kick.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Simpson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Junior scores with a shot to the body.

Junior dips to his left and cracks Moldoon with an uppercut! A low kick from Moldoon misses and Junior counters with a nice double leg into side control. Moldoon won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Junior controlling the position. Junior thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Junior has an Americana. Moldoon didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Junior is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Junior hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Rodriguez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baba uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rodriguez. Baba looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rodriguez jabs Baba right on the nose. Baba blinks but takes it well.
It looks like George Baba has been cut. A combination from Rodriguez does no damage. Rodriguez falls off balance throwing a combination
so Baba counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Baba wants to pass the guard but Rodriguez is keeping the position. Baba slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Rodriguez on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Rodriguez prevents Baba from moving into mount. Baba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Baba remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Baba has knee on belly and moves into mount.
