The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamenskiy doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kamenskiy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Valera Kamenskiy has been cut. Kamenskiy digs a good hook to Rasputin's body.
Rasputin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Rasputin pushes Kamenskiy off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Kamenskiy tries to clinch but Rasputin is having none of it. Kamenskiy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rasputin to the ground. Kamenskiy is now in Rasputin's guard. Kamenskiy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rasputin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kamenskiy. Rasputin wants to stand but Kamenskiy is controlling the position. Rasputin has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNamara changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Farseer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Farseer is looking for a sweep. Farseer is not content to let McNamara control the position. Farseer is trying to get back to half guard. Farseer gets back to half guard. Farseer tries to get to full guard but McNamara has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McNamara is taking a breather. Farseer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McNamara seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Farseer for as long as he can get away with. Farseer is trying to control but can't.

Despite the aggression on Farseer's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. McNamara has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Farseer. Farseer fakes the leg kick and cracks McNamara in the body. McNamara is breathing heavily. A low kick from McNamara misses and Farseer counters with a left to the body. Farseer thuds his shin into the meat of McNamara's side. We've been hearing reports that McNamara has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Farseer thuds a left hand into McNamara's body. Farseer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McNamara circles away quickly and effectively. McNamara misses with a combination

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Farseer connects with a nice short shot to McNamara's temple. McNamara on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. McNamara tries to get to full guard but Farseer has control of the leg. Farseer seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead McNamara has recovered full guard. McNamara utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Suokuokka has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Schwarzeneg is landing a low percentage of strikes. Suokuokka darts in and clinches Schwarzeneg up against the cage. Suokuokka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ripgut is working Thomas over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Thomas tries to land a sweep but no joy. Will he be able to recover?!! Pitbull drops his hands momentarily. Michaels doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Pitbull staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Pitbull doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zagorno looks for a takedown but Moneybags sprawls well. Zagorno fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Moneybags looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Moneybags takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Moneybags misses with a straight left. Zagorno lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Zagorno throws an overhand right that lands on Moneybags's shoulder, as Moneybags tries to avoid the shot. Zagorno takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Moneybags misses with a body shot.

Moneybags looks to move to half guard but instead Zagorno has passed into mount! Damn! Zagorno lands a big shot there that rocks Moneybags but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like John Moneybags has been cut. Zagorno is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Moneybags defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Moneybags refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Moneybags's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

After winning the bout, Gabriel Zagorno thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Light takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Light is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Loco swings for the body but Light moves out of range.
Light drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Loco defends it well. Light slips a straight right by Loco. Light has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Loco lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A lazy left from Loco finds it's target. Loco lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Light tries to bum rush Loco with a series of wild strikes but Loco uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Light ducks under a wild hook from Loco. Light will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Loco scores with a decent looking hook. Light takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Light goes for a double leg but Loco avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Loco continues to drive forward. Loco looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice defenses there by Light. Loco feints a jab promting Light to slip. Loco then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Light slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Loco has closed the distance and engaged Light in a clinch.

Loco seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Loco not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Light in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Light lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Light drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Light jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Loco avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Light stops Loco from standing up. Loco wants to sweep here but Light controlling him for the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Light accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Loco wants to stand up but Light is controlling him.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Light misses with a takedown attempt and Loco cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. El Loco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Light. Light wants to clinch. Loco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Loco defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Light. El Loco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Light. Light shoots in for a takedown but Loco shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Loco is looking to counter punch. Bobby Light is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Loco scores with a punch to the head. Loco with a hook. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Loco, right into the meat.

Is there anything that Light can do to turn this around? Loco feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lights jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Light tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Loco defends well and Light ends up having to push Loco into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Light is breathing heavily. Loco scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Loco!

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Light fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Loco sprawls well initially but Light persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Light throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Light wants to work for an arm triangle but Loco is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Light stalling away here and it's allowed Loco to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Light trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Loco wants to stand and escape but Light is having none of it. Bobby Light has got the better of the ground game so far.
