0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nobita Nagasaki! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nagasaki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nagasaki shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mouffa tries to roll over but Nagasaki keeps him under control. Nagasaki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nagasaki throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nagasaki trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nagasaki not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nagasaki content to control rather than advance. Nagasaki wants to pass to mount but Mouffa is defending the position. Still in half guard, Nagasaki seems content to control.

Nice combination by Mouffa!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mouffa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nagasaki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice jab there from Mouffa. Mouffa scores with a nice head shot. Nagasaki tries for a takedown but Mouffa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nagasaki has managed to clinch.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Mouffa as Nagasaki tries to tie him up. Mouffa has a couple of punches blocked by Nagasaki.
Mouffa is looking to control Nagasaki's arms but Nagasaki gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mouffa has his back to the cage. Mouffa gets underhooks to prevent Nagasaki's takedown attempt.

Mouffa is pawing at Nagasaki, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Nagasaki's nose. Nagasaki is badly hurt! Mouffa pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Nagasaki tries desperately to hold on but Mouffa is relentless in his assault! As Nagasaki receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Mouffa away and this one is in the books!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Teller avoids it really well and circles away. Teller misses with a series of wild punches.
Moore throws a big counter head kick but Teller avoids it with no problem. Moore looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Moore thows a huge punch but Teller dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Teller is trying is best to control the position here. My spies in Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM inform me that Moore has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Himen shoots for a takedown but Udo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Udo lands a really nice looking cross but Himen seems unphased.
Himen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Udo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Himen dives in for a single leg takedown but Udo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Rama Udo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. No luck with that takedown attempt from Himen. Udo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Himens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nice uppercut there from Udo. Udo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Himen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Udo.

Udo is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Himen needs to keep his hands up - Udo had a free shot at his head there. Himen fails with the takedown and Udo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Udo works over Himen's head and body with a nice combination. Himen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
