1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leifr Eiriksson! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eiriksson fails in his attempt to clinch. Eiriksson throws a right and a left that Yourass avoids nicely. Yourass lands an overhand right. Eiriksson takes one on the button. Eiriksson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yourass paws at him with a jab and circles away. Eiriksson defending well as Yourass loads up on a big left hand. Yourass scores with a hook to the body. Eiriksson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Yourass throws a right and a left that both miss. Eiriksson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Leifr Eiriksson has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Eiriksson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yourass lands a slapping body shot.
Yourass drops Eiriksson with a beautiful combination! Eiriksson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Yourass is looking for the KO!
Eiriksson is rocked! Eiriksson looks gassed! Eiriksson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Eiriksson is still on wobbly legs! Can Yourass finish him? Eiriksson staying out of range there. Eiriksson seems to have recovered his senses. Yourass misses with a low kick. Eiriksson tries to clinch but Yourass is having none of it. Yourass throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Yourass thows a body shot but no joy. Eiriksson has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eiriksson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yourass walks away with a smile on his face. Eiriksson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Yourass throws a combination that misses and Eiriksson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Eiriksson thows a huge punch but Yourass dodges it nicely.
Eiriksson is trying to work for a kimura but Yourass is defending well.
Eiriksson works his foot free and advances to mount. Eiriksson working for a guillotine from mount but Yourass is in no mood to give up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yourass tries to hold on but Eiriksson postures up. Yourass is trying to escape the mount.
Eiriksson thowing shots but they're missing. Eiriksson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yourass is looking to escape. Eiriksson punching from mount but Yourass doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Eiriksson misses with a head shot. Eiriksson has hold of Yourass's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Yourass manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Eiriksson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Eiriksson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Yourass to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Yourass shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Yourass can't escape the position.
Eiriksson lands a big elbow. Yourass wants to hold on but Eiriksson pushes him away. Eiriksson wants to finish this one by submission but Yourass is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Eiriksson. Eiriksson working for a submission but Yourass is keeping him at bay. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yourass is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Gena Yourass dominated that round. The cut man is working on Leifr Eiriksson's cut. That's time! Yourass's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A decent looking cross lands there for Yourass. Yourass is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Eiriksson. Eiriksson doesn't manage to clinch there - Yourass circles away.

Eiriksson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Yourass misses the jab. Yourass swats away the attempt to clinch by Eiriksson. A jab from Yourass misses. Gena Yourass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yourass throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Yourass will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yourass throws a series of punches but Eiriksson moves out of range. Eiriksson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Yourass misses with a combination
and Eiriksson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Yourass's guard now. Yourass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eiriksson on the ground. Eiriksson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Eiriksson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Yourass screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Eiriksson! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buttkicker shoots in and drives through. Sobolev sprawls well. Nice takedown defense from Buttkicker. No joy for Sobolev on that attempt. Buttkicker looks to land a combination but Sobolev avoids it well. Buttkicker looks for the body kick but Sobolev saw that one coming. Buttkicker throws a head kick but Sobolev moves out of range.
Sobolev shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buttkicker is trying to defend but Sobolev finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sobolev thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Buttkicker's head. Sobolev landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Buttkicker on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Buttkicker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sobolev scores with a couple of nice shots. Buttkicker is trying to stand up here but Sobolev is controlling him well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Buttkicker can do anything to dispel that myth. Sobolev working Buttkicker over with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sobolev is keen to just control but Buttkicker is a slippery customer. Buttkicker wants to get back to his feet.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sobolev lands a nice short elbow. Sobolev winds up and cracks Buttkicker with a swinging punch to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sobolev wants to control but Buttkicker is keeping him busy.

He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Sobolev can't get the takedown.

Sobolev swivels though and keeps the full guard. Buttkicker trying to control the position from guard on top but Sobolev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Buttkicker postures up in Sobolev's guard and throws a big left but Sobolev blocks it. Sobolev pulls Buttkicker in to control the position. Buttkicker throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sobolev shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Sobolev is working Buttkicker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Buttkicker is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Sobolev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Buttkicker lands a big elbow. Sobolev tries to hold on but Buttkicker pushes him away. Sobolev is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Nicely done! Buttkicker closes the distance and lands a one-two. Sobolev drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sobolev wants to control from the top but Buttkicker keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sobolev trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Sobolev trying to control the position from guard on top but Buttkicker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sobolev won't allow Buttkicker to sweep him here. Sobolev is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Buttkicker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sobolev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sobolev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dudder lands a right hook to the body.

Dudder scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ubereem doesn't seem bothered though. Ubereem has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dudder finds it's way round the side to connect with Ubereem's head. Dudder jabs Ubereem right on the nose. Ubereem blinks but takes it well. Dudder scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Dudder lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ubereem backs up against the cage.
Dudder's corner calls for a 1-2. Dudder obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ubereem is rocked! Dudder is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ubereem rather than just go for the knockout. Ubereem takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Oh Ubereem is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice body punch from Dudder. Dudder Rushes Ubereem and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Ubereem is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Thaksin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Santana has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
