The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bob to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bob stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bob works a leg free and moves into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bob haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bob seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.
