And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Garrett Boswell!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boswell ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Boswell lands with a shot to the body.
Nucleus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Boswell looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Boswell loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Boswell postures up in Nucleus's guard and throws a big left but Nucleus blocks it.
Nucleus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boswell is one step ahead there.

Boswell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nucleus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boswell has managed to get both his arms back between Nucleus's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boswell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nucleus darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Boswell avoids the head kick by Nucleus.
Boswell tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Boswell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

It looks like Edinger Nucleus has been cut.

Boswell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nucleus. Nucleus obviously looking to wear him down.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boswell crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nucleus - the referee stops the clock and Boswell gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nucleus. Boswell manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Nucleus shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Boswell eats them both and turns towards Nucleus to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Garrett Boswell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nucleus throws the kick towards the body but Boswell avoids it.
Boswell looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nucleus throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Boswell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nucleus circles away quickly and effectively.
Boswell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nucleus has time to react.
Nucleus throws a low kick but Boswell moves out of range easily.
Nucleus tries to land a leg kick but Boswell saw it coming and moves away.
Boswell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Boswell throws a jab when Nucleus was well out of range.
Nucleus is looking to counter with head kicks.
Boswell tries to clinch there but Nucleus circles away.
Boswell loads up on a big right hand but Nucleus slips the punch.
Boswell connects with the punch.
Boswell throws a series of punches but Nucleus avoids them all with ease.

Boswell just misses with a punch to the body.
We've been told by Nucleus's head coaches at Bad Pluto! (17 Elite Coach) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nucleus pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Boswell back to the cage. Nucleus follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Nucleus staying out of range there.
Nucleus scores with a jab to the body.
Edinger Nucleus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nucleus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nucleus ducks under a wild hook from Boswell.
Boswell throws a good cross that connects.
Boswell misses with a hook.
A quick step to the side and Nucleus tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Nucleus lands a big head kick that sends Boswell tumbling to the mat! Nucleus takes a step backwards and waves Boswell back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Boswell is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boswell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nucleus seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Boswell is still on wobbly legs! Can Nucleus finish him?

and Nucleus counters with a crisp right that sends Boswell to the canvas! Nucleus follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
