The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cherokee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cherokee is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Aaaaaaa's shoulder. That is not cool. Cherokee trying to control the action but Aaaaaaa is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Aaaaaaa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Aaaaaaa is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Aaaaaaa is trying to get back to half guard.

He's bucked Cherokee off and has taken his back! Cherokee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aaaaaaa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cherokee is trying to get back to his feet but Aaaaaaa has full control of the position and if anything, Cherokee has just worked his way into a worse spot. Aaaaaaa struggling to keep hold of the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barrett takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nakamura moves into the clinch. Nakamura tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Nakamura keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Barrett's efforts to push away. Barrett is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Nakamura throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Nakamura lands with a light punch inside. Nakamura lands a right hand.
It looks like Lyndon Barrett has been cut. Barrett looks winded! Nakamura lands a shot to the body. A nice right hand lands inside from Nakamura. Nakamura holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Clinched against the cage, Nakamura lands a big elbow that drops Barrett! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Barrett is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nobuhiro Nakamura! After the fight, Nobuhiro Nakamura was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Headed lands with a kick to the temple. Wolf shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Wolf misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Headed.
Wolf seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Headed tries to clinch but Wolf is having none of it. Headed throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Wolf counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Headed! Headed avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Wolf. Headed felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. An elbow from Wolf crashes against the mat.
Wolf wants to lay and pray for a moment but Headed keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stockton keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slater. Stockton throws a series of punches but Slater moves out of range. Stockton swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Slater. Stockton has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Slater is landing a low percentage of strikes. Stockton lands a big uppercut and Slater crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Slater looks OK. Stockton waves Slater back to his feet!

It looks like Von Slater has been cut. Stockton wobbles Slater with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Stockton dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Slater to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
