The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Cameron or perhaps it was just good defense by Kelly, which made it look bad.
Cameron lands with a right hand.

Kelly scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cameron is looking to reverse the position.

The strikes coming from Kelly are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Cameron stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kelly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cameron is looking to work some ground and pound but Kelly has wrist control.

Kelly had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cameron defends it easily.

Kelly isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cameron stacks Kelly on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cameron!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fighter B really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fighter A. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gordon Freeman.

Magakian comes to the cage accompanied by Sevak Magakian Highlights. On his way into the cage it seems that Sevak Magakian has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sevak Magakian seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silakka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
As Burns looks to move away, Silakka throws a big counter combo bu Burns just gets out of the way.
Nice straight punches there by Silakka. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silakka.

It looks like Carl Burns has been cut.

That kick from Silakka tenderised Burns's leg. Burns is trying to keep his angry face on.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Burns lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Silakka throws a leg kick which misses Burns's front leg but catches the back leg as Burns tries to avoid it.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Silakka here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Leeroy comes into the arena with Boondocks Theme Song blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Destroyer's choice of entrance music: Eminem - Kill You. Destroyer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Leeroy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Destroyer.
Destroyer shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Leeroy throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Destroyer is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
