The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacksson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jacksson lands a couple of digs. Jacksson working some strikes from top position. Jacksson scoring with some ground and pound. Jacksson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jacksson has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted. Jacksson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jacksson trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Jacksson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Jacksson passes Silva's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Howard shoots in but no luck this time. Jones appears to be looking for a big counter. Nice body kick there by Jones. Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Howard can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Howard swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jones trying to control but Howard is working from the bottom. Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones gets to his feet - Howard follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Howard tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jones lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Howard falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Halliday's shoulder, as Halliday tries to avoid the shot. Halliday chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lee can pounce on him.
Halliday lands a nice looking body kick. Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Halliday defending well as Lee loads up on a big left hand. It looked like Halliday was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Lee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Halliday throws a leg kick but Lee sees it coming and moves out of range. Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Halliday fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lee is out of range. Halliday on the wrong end of a nice jab. Halliday throws a right and a left that both miss. Halliday ducks right into an uppercut from Lee. Good standup being displayed there by Halliday as he connects with a hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee walks into a stiff left hand from Halliday. Halliday looks to land a left hand but Lee moved out of range nicely. Lee takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Halliday looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Lee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Halliday on the side of the head. Lee connects with a right hand. Halliday shakes it off.

Halliday looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well. Halliday throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease. Halliday slips a jab from Lee. Lee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Halliday to score with a decent uppercut. Lee jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Halliday wants to clinch and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Halliday is rocked! Lee walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Halliday drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lee swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Halliday's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The Greek looks to land a combination but Vantrell avoids it well. Zorba The Greek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Greek misses with a wild combination.

The Greek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vantrell, who protects the arm well. Vantrell tries to buck The Greek off but The Greek is having none of it. My spies in Mano`s Elite BJJ Gym inform me that The Greek has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The Greek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vantrell, who protects the arm well. The Greek is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Vantrell is trying to escape and The Greek transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Vantrell is forced to tap! Nice work there by The Greek! Very nice indeed!

Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Richard sprawls well. Richard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Richard went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt. Richard is looking for a counter combo. Kvasov throws a wild body kick that Williams sees coming a mile off. Williams's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kvasov under the eye. Kvasov throws a lazy right hand but Williams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Williams throws a solid leg kick but Kvasov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Williams. Williams feints and as Kvasov raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Williams wants to control from the top but Kvasov keeps moving. Kvasov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Draclau throws a leg kick which misses Malaki's front leg but catches the back leg as Malaki tries to avoid it. Draclau throws a leg kick and Malaki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Malaki doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Malaki works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Draclau tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Malaki counter with a right hand. Draclau jabs Malaki right on the nose.
