Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Paul Leblanc! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leblanc darts in looking for a takedown but Scott gets double underhooks and turns Leblanc into the cage. Scott looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Leblanc dives in and scores a takedown into Scott's guard. Leblanc stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scott swivels though and keeps the full guard. Scott keeping moving, preventing Leblanc from controlling successfully. Leblanc might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Scott haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leblanc trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott keeping moving, preventing Leblanc from controlling successfully. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Leblanc passes Scott's left leg - he's now in half guard. Leblanc looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Leblanc passes the guard and advances to mount! Leblanc looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Leblanc trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leblanc won't let Scott get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Scott looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Leblanc can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Scott is looking to escape. Scott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leblanc on the ground. Leblanc is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Leblanc extends the arm and Scott is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davidson misses with a lunging right hand
and Kawulski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Davidson won't be happy with that. An elbow from Kawulski crashes against the mat.
Davidson is trying to control Kawulski's posture but Kawulski avoids it. Davidson dodges the ground and pound from Kawulski. Davidson is being controlled here. Kawulski working away. Davidson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kawulski.

Kawulski creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Davidson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Davidson is looking for a sweep. Davidson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Davidson throws a nice looking combination but Kawulski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kawulski attempts a counter takedown but Davidson avoids it well and moves away. Davidson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kawulski finds it's way round the side to connect with Davidson's head. Davidson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kawulski avoids the body shot from Davidson.
Kawulski drops down looking for a counter takedown but Davidson sprawls and moves away. Kawulski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Davidson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
And that's the end of the fight! Aleksander Kawulski showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kawulski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sienly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Avecilla. Avecilla is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sienly. Sienly moves out of range as Avecilla strikes. Sienly looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Avecilla's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sienly under the eye. Nico Avecilla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sienly pivots, looking for a leg kick but Avecilla is out of range and Sienly settles back down. Avecilla has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Avecilla throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sienly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Avecilla throws a lazy head kick and Avecilla takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A slow jab from Avecilla misses its intended target. A nice inside leg kick there by Sienly. That's going to slow Avecilla down. Avecilla changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sienly tries to avoid it but Avecilla manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sienly to the ground. Sienly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Avecilla tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sienly is able to avoid easily. Sienly scores with a jab to the head.
Sienly throws a right and a left that both miss. An inside leg kick lands from Sienly. Sienly definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Avecilla on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sienly connects with a solid leg kick. A telegraphed right hand from Avecilla misses the target. Sienly lets loose with a powerful body kick. Avecilla will feel that in the morning. Avecilla throws a head kick but Sienly moves out of range.

Avecilla shoots in looking for a takedown but Sienly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Avecilla's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Avecilla looks winded! Sienly scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Sienly connects with a nice looking jab.

Kristof Sienly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nico Avecilla. Sienly takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Sienly dodges the punch combination from Avecilla.
Avecilla seems to have recovered his senses.

Sienly goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Sienly misses with an uppercut. Sienly connects with a solid leg kick. Sienly avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Sienly lands with a shot to the body. Avecilla shoots in but no luck this time. It looked like Sienly wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Avecilla misses with a looping left. A little feinted left hand from Sienly on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Sienly throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Avecilla on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Sienly scores with the left hand. Avecilla knows he should have avoided that one. Avecilla dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Sienly tries to bum rush Avecilla with a series of wild strikes but Avecilla uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Avecilla waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sienly. A swing and a miss from Sienly. Sienly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Avecilla. Sienly uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Avecilla. Sienly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Avecilla doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Sienly counter with a right hand. Avecilla gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sienly counters with a flying knee that drops Avecilla! Sienly dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!

Sussman unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Furth! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Sussman is unloading with more strikes now! Furth drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longworth shoots in and drives through. Richer sprawls well. Richer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Longworth defends it nicely. Longworth seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Longworth shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Longworth shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Richer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Richer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle.
