The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernardo throws a body punch but Parr moves out of range.
Parr swings widly with a right hand

and Bernardo counters by moving into the clinch.

Parr manages to break the clinch.

Parr throws out a counter right but Bernardo avoids it with no problem.
Bernardo avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Parr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parr throws an overhand right that lands on Bernardo's shoulder, as Bernardo tries to avoid the shot.

Bernardo shoots in and bounces Parr off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bernardo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bernardo uses his free foot to push down on Parr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Parr.

Parr has left one of his arms exposed and Bernardo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Parr screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Jacobs shoots in looking for a takedown but Thane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jacobs's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Thane looks to land a combination but Jacobs avoids it well.
Jacobs definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Halo blocks a head kick by Johns.
Johns uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Halo.
Johns shoots in but Halo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Johns throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mookie Blaylock.
