And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krejza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like MacDougal was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Krejza dives in and grabs MacDougal's left leg, looking for a takedown. MacDougal pushes down on Krejza's head and hops out.

MacDougal drives through with a takedown into Krejza's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Krejza wants to stand up but MacDougal is controlling him.
MacDougal wants to control from the top but Krejza keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krejza wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and MacDougal manages to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacDougal is looking to take a break and control but Krejza is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Krejza wants to finish this one by submission but MacDougal is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Krejza.

Krejza goes for an armbar but he's not got it… MacDougal turns into him and now he's in Krejza's guard.

Hupperts closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Boyka is trying to control Hupperts's posture but Hupperts avoids it.
Hupperts tries to move into full mount but can't pass Boyka's legs.
You can see the frustration on Boyka's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hupperts working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Hupperts goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Boyka rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hupperts's guard! Nice work there by Boyka!
