0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack McGuinness! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moskavony shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McGuinness as he avoids it easily. McGuinness throws out a counter right but Moskavony avoids it with no problem. McGuinness bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. McGuinness keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice body punch from McGuinness. Larry Moskavony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moskavony on the wrong end of a nice hook. McGuinness with a jab. Moskavony shoots in and drives through. McGuinness sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Moskavony. That's going to take a lot out of him. A slapping leg kick lands for McGuinness.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McGuinness, as that shot connected.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moskavony. McGuinness is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Moskavony with a body shot. McGuinness's jab looks to have found its range, popping Moskavony under the eye. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McGuinness comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moskavony is defended easily by McGuinness. McGuinness swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moskavony looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGuinness is fending him off so far but Moskavony persists. Nope, McGuinness circles away and we're back to standing. Moskavony takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Moskavony shoots for a double leg takedown but McGuinness sprawls well. He's pushed Moskavony's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Moskavony decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. McGuinness keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. McGuinness slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Moskavony postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McGuinness is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moskavony, into his guard. Moskavony is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McGuinness throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moskavony has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McGuinness can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McGuinness working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. McGuinness missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Moskavony tries to land a sweep but no joy. McGuinness throwing strikes but missing. McGuinness scoring with punches to the head and body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McGuinness preventing the sweep. Moskavony seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. McGuinness postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Moskavony working for a triangle but McGuinness defends it easily.
McGuinness throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moskavony works some decent striking defense from the bottom. McGuinness in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McGuinness must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Moskavony is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McGuinness is aware though and is defending well. McGuinness keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Moskavony's head. McGuinness really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moskavony. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McGuinness throws a big right hand that misses. Moskavony on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moskavony tries to get out of the position.

Moskavony has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McGuinness doesn't defend quickly enough and Moskavony has managed to lock this one up! Can McGuinness escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Moskavony on a fantastic submission victory.

Muuskanen pushes Miller against the cage but Miller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Miller misses with a body kick. Miller finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruglov avoids the head kick by Darwin.
Darwin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kruglov shoots and misses and Darwin counters with a two punch combo. Kruglov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Darwin backs up against the cage.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kruglov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kruglov throws a nice looking combination but Darwin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kruglov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Darwin throws out the jab. Darwin throws a head kick that misses and Kruglov counters with a three punch combo that has Darwin backing up. Darwin nods at Kruglov to acknowledge the strikes.

Darwin is trying to maintain the position but Kruglov is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kruglov darts in and clinches Darwin up against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kruglov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Darwin gets through Kruglov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kruglov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Darwin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Darwin shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Kruglov with a lazy takedown attempt and Darwin counters with a head kick. Charles Darwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxim Kruglov. Kruglov fails with the takedown enabling Darwin to counter with a crisp jab. Darwin pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Charles Darwin will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Maxim Kruglov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Darwin lands a big head kick that sends Kruglov tumbling to the mat! Darwin takes a step backwards and waves Kruglov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sidwell darts in looking for a takedown but McFly gets double underhooks and turns Sidwell into the cage. McFly misses with a wild combination.
McFly looks to land a combination but Sidwell avoids it well. A punch combination from McFly misses. McFly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sidwell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McFly sprawls well initially but Sidwell persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sidwell is trying to control. McFly wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sidwell is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sidwell is taking a breather. McFly says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sidwell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McFly is just riding it out for now. Sidwell eventually gives up the hold. McFly is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Morbid Conditioning, Trans, Esc School $1000 that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Sidwell stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sidwell is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McFly defends it well. Sidwell seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. McFly cracks Sidwell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Sloppy strikes from McFly. Those never looked like landing. McFly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sidwell throws a right and a left that McFly avoids nicely. As Sidwell looks to move away, McFly throws a big counter combo bu Sidwell just gets out of the way. That was a close round but I would say that Jackson McFly will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sidwell staying calm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sidwell decides to stand up, so the ref orders McFly to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McFly fails to land with a series of punches.
Sidwell avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sidwell rushes McFly and presses him up against the cage. Sidwell successfully pulls guard.
McFly takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Sidwell is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! McFly has his hands clasped together but Sidwell extends and breaks McFly's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Sidwell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larry throws a quick inside leg kick. Larry throws a low kick but it's checked well by Nuke. Nuke tests Larry's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nuke closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. We've been informed that Larry has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Larry just misses with a punch to the body.
Nuke feinted with a counter takedown. Nuke shoots for a double leg takedown but Larry sprawls well. He's pushed Nuke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nuke stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Larry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nuke throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Larry throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Larry throws a leg kick that is checked and Nuke counters with a shoot takedown. Larry fights it but they end up in guard. Nuke has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nuke stays in close to Larry's body and controls the position. Larry tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jared Nuke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Larry working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nuke. We've been hearing good reports from Nuke's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Nuke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Larry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nuke sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nuke postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Nuke in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Larry keeping moving, preventing Nuke from controlling successfully.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Larry misses with a lunging right hand
and Nuke counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Larry tries to land a sweep but no joy. Larry throws his legs up looking for a submission but Nuke uses it to pass to side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Larry is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nuke laying and praying for a moment but Larry takes advantage and regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jared Nuke will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Nuke winds up and cracks Larry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Nuke working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Larry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Larry looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Nuke passes into side control.

Nuke raining down hammerfists from mount. Nuke fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Nuke around the waist but Nuke pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Nuke is the winner by TKO! Nuke jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

A decent looking cross lands there for Paddon. Ce has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Paddon ducks under a wild hook from Ce. Paddon is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. This has been an exciting period of action! Ce misses with a series of wild punches.

Ce shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Paddon cracks Ce with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ce swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Paddon counters with a lovely shot to the body. Ce on the wrong end of a nice jab. Paddon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ce has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Paddon lands with a cross. Paddon is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Ce scores with a nice strike. Paddon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

He's obviously looking to slow Ce down. Paddon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ce moves away. Paddon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Paddon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paddon throws a hook to the side of Ce's head but Ce sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Paddon blocks a jab. Ce throws a nice looking combination but Paddon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ce listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Paddon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ce doesn't seem bothered though. Paddon misses with a body kick. Ce will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Darren Paddon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sun Ce. A solid body kick from Paddon. Crunch! Paddon slams his shin into Ce's torso. Ce walks into a stiff left hand from Paddon. Ce takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Ce misses with an uppercut. Paddon saw that one coming. Paddon misses with a body kick. Paddon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ce on the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Paddon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Paddon catches Ce with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Paddon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ce. Paddon looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ce throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ce takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Both fighters circling a little - Paddon finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Ce tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Paddon swivels and escapes. Paddon slips under a jab from Ce. Paddon half committed to a counter leg kick. Paddon lands with a big left! Ce is wobbled badly! Paddon comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Ce to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Darren Paddon! Darren Paddon very nearly forgot to thank Arcticus amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hyrkanian tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Junior defends well and Hyrkanian ends up having to push Junior into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Junior lands a leg kick that knocks Hyrkanian off balance momentarily. Hyrkanian tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Junior uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hyrkanian. Junior loads up on a big right hand but Hyrkanian slips the punch. That kick from Junior tenderised Hyrkanian's leg. Hyrkanian is trying to keep his angry face on. Hyrkanian closes the distance but Junior moves to the side and Junior counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hyrkanian takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've been told by Junior's head coaches at Furia Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Hyrkanian's jab looks to have found its range, popping Junior under the eye. Junior swings away with a leg kick that misses. Hyrkanian steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Junior. Hyrkanian tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Junior quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hyrkanian has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
