The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fagundes lands a left and a right that send Monthan crashing to the mat, dazed. Fagundes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Larry Monthan has been cut.
Fagundes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Monthan.
No luck for Monthan with that takedown attempt.
Monthan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
