Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Locke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Purple Haze! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Locke drives through with a takedown into Haze's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Locke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haze swivels though and keeps the full guard. Haze striking off his back, scoring a few points. Locke wants to stand but Haze is controlling his posture from full guard. Locke wants to control from the top but Haze keeps moving. Locke stands up from Haze's guard - Locke perhaps looking for a knockout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Locke slaps away a takedown attempt from Haze, before circling back to the center of the mat. Locke closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Locke lands in his opponent's guard. Locke passes Haze's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Locke in particular looking to stall. Haze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ho fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Nakane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ho was well out of range. Poor timing from Nakane. Ho throws out a counter right but Nakane avoids it with no problem. Ho connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nakane throws a body shot but no joy. Ho shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nakane eats them both and turns towards Ho to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. A punch combination from Nakane misses. Ho lands a nice hook to Nakane's body. Nakane takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Ho displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nakane throws out the jab. Ho takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Nakane missing with a left hand there. Ho was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nakane wants to land a leg kick but Ho is out of range. Ho uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nakane. Ho appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Nakane thows a leg kick but Ho checks it and Ho counters with a nice uppercut. Ho steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nakane. Nakane throws a front kick aimed at Ho's knee but Ho avoids it well. Ho unleashes a big counter combination but Nakane bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Ho lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ho ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nakane moves away. Nakane misses the shot to the body. Ho now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Ho jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keosayan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Reijonen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Keosayan is defended easily by Reijonen. Keosayan throws a predictable looking body shot
and Reijonen counters with a leg kick. Keosayan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Reijonen throws an overhand right that lands on Keosayan's shoulder, as Keosayan tries to avoid the shot. Reijonen misses with a kick to the body and Keosayan counters with a takedown into side control. Reijonen has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maia throws a body punch but Coker moves out of range. Coker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Coker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice defenses there by Maia. Maia on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Coker scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Coker throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Coker throws a leg kick but Maia sees it coming and moves out of range. Coker scores with a spinning back kick! Coker ducks under a wild hook from Maia. Maia dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Maia looks for a takedown but Coker sprawls well. Maia thows a left - swing and a miss! Coker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Maia. Maia has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Coker. Maia takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Maia lands with a shot to the body. Coker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Maia. Coker attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Maia lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Maia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coker was well out of range. Poor timing from Maia. Maia is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Coker rather than just go for the knockout. Coker throws a low kick but Maia moves out of range easily. Coker lands a leg kick that knocks Maia off balance momentarily. Coker goes for a double leg but Maia avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Maia continues to drive forward. Maia lands a jab to the nose. Coker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maia swats him away and circles back towards the center. Coker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Maia wants to get back to full guard. Maia keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coker prevents Maia from improving his position. Maia is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Maia keeps trying to improve his position. Coker is keen to just control but Maia is a slippery customer. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Coker keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Coker looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Coker forces Maia back against the cage and clinches. Coker is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Maia has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Coker after a bit of a struggle. Coker lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Coker stalling the fight.

Maia sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Maia decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coker is trying to control but Maia manages to pass to mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Maia lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coker wants to control but Maia is having none of it. Coker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Maia lands a couple of good shots and Coker has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Even with his hooks in, Maia manages to miss with strikes from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coker tries to escape but Maia has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Coker covering up well and avoiding damage. Our spies down at at Hell's Balls NY Hellcademy inform us that Maia has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Maia is hanging on to Coker's back as he tries to escape.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maia connects with a nice short shot to Coker's temple. Coker moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Coker is looking for a triangle but Maia pushes his legs off easily.

Kyro Maia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sanders loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sanders lands a couple of elbows. Sanders stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Soprano swivels though and keeps the full guard. Soprano is looking to stand up but Sanders isn't so interested in that idea. Soprano is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sanders trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanders stands and throws Soprano's legs to the side, diving into side control. Soprano is trying to control Sanders's posture but Sanders avoids it.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Khaled Kalil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Zdravko Dren! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalil gets a clinch. Dren wants to break free but Kalil has control.
Kalil wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dren has him pressed against the cage. Dren has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Dren avoids a wild elbow strike from Kalil. I was talking to Kalil's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Kalil misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kalil pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kalil closes the distance and pushes Dren back into the cage. Dren can't get the takedown.
Dren takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Zdravko Dren has been cut. Kalil breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kalil knocks Dren to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Dren is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kalil decides to stand back up. Kalil steps back and let's Dren get back to his feet. Dren is still on wobbly legs! Can Kalil finish him? Kalil feints a jab and as Dren dips his head, Kalil unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Dren right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Dren falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Kalil smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Khaled Kalil! A very excited looking Khaled Kalil made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dan Stall! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hulk ducks under a wild hook from Stall. Hulk throws a body kick that misses. Stall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice uppercut there from Stall. Hulk is looking to slow Stall down with leg kicks. Hulk throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Good standup being displayed there by Stall as he connects with a hook. A big left from Stall misses. Hulk fires out a quick counter leg kick but Stall just manages to avoid it. Stall misses with a looping right. An inside leg kick from Hulk misses. Hulk misses with a body kick. Stall cracks a nice hook into Hulk's ribs. Some wild striking there from Stall.
Hulk attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Hulk takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hulk throws a shot from downtown. Stall moves away and avoids it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hulk throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stall. Hulk sets himself, and Stall steps forward looking for the clinch! Hulk avoids it this time. Dan Stall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hulk shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hulk takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nice cross by Stall. Stall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hulk with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hulk scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Stall moves out of range of the body kick from Hulk.
Hulk swats away the attempt to clinch by Stall. An inside leg kick lands from Hulk. Stall tries to clinch up and Hulk counters with a leg kick. Stall walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hulk checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Stall thuds a left hand into Hulk's body. Stall misses with a looping right. Hulk throws a quick counter head kick but Stall was just out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Stall walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hulk. Stall with a hook. Stall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hulk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hulk walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Hulk thows a body kick. Stall tries to catch it but that hurt him. Stall tries to clinch up. Hulk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stall.
Stall misses with a straight right. Stall scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hulk misses with a body kick. Hulk throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Stall forces Hulk back against the cage and clinches. A short left from Stall. With the fighters up against the cage, Stall throws an elbow but misses. Stall misses with a hook to the ribs.
Stall misses with a knee to the head. Stall pushes off an throws an elbow but Hulk leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Hulk lands a left hand that snaps the head of Stall backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stall throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hulk lands with a left to the head. Hulk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stall blocks the body kick.
Hulk throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Stall throws out a loose jab but Hulk uses good head movement to avoid it. Hulk scores with a nice head shot. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hulk.

Hulk throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Stall digs a good body shot into Hulk's ribs. Hulk gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stall is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hulk had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Hulk moves away from the strike by Stall. Stall swings for the body but Hulk moves out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hulk bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stall jabs Hulk right on the nose. Hulk blinks but takes it well. Stall scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hulk connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stall's hands. Hulk slips under a jab from Stall. Hulk thinks about countering with a body kick. Stall checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Jab, jab by Stall - just one landing. Stall tries to clinch and Hulk counters with a low kick, right behind Stall 's knee. Hulk gets off balance looking for a body kick and Stall counters with a series of strikes. Hulk will be more careful next time no doubt. Hulk goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Hulk misses with the body kick and Hulk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hulk lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stall has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stall and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Nice shot by Stall. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hulk throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Stall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hulk manages to avoid it. Stall throws a lazy uppercut
and Hulk counters with a straight right hand. Hulk pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dan Stall will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stall tries to clinch up and Hulk counters with a right hand to the body. Hulk misses with a body kick. Stall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hulk was well out of range. Poor timing from Stall. Hulk is looking to land body kicks. Stall takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Stall steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hulk. That one must have hurt. Hulk gets off balance looking for a body kick and Stall counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Stall uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hulk fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Stall checks it well. A decent looking cross lands there for Stall. Hulk wants to land a leg kick but Stall is out of range. Good exchange - Stall coming out on top. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stall lands with a cross. Hulk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A little feinted left hand from Hulk on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Hulk connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Stall slips under a jab. A jab from Hulk misses. Stall cracks Hulk with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Stall throws a big shot that misses. Hulk is looking for a counter combo. Hulk takes one to the chin there. A chopping leg kick lands by Hulk. Hulk throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stall. Stall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hulk sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hulk feinted there with a counter leg kick. Dan Stall seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stall misses with a body shot.

Stall looks to clinch and Hulk counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Hulk fakes the leg kick and cracks Stall in the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hulk dodges the punch combination from Stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hulk defending well as Stall loads up on a big left hand. Hulk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stall throws out the jab. Hulk checks a leg kick nicely. Hulk fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stall has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hulk looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Stall scores with a nice head shot. A solid leg kick lands there for Hulk.
Stall is looking to score with low kicks. Hulk throws a front kick aimed at Stall's knee but Stall avoids it well. Stall loads up on a big right hand but Hulk slips the punch. Hulk cracks Stall with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Stall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stall jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stall tries to counter with a clinch but Hulk shakes him off and moves away. Stall lands with an overhand left. Hulk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stall. Hulk swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Hulk connects with a solid leg kick. Hulk pushes Stall away with a front kick. Stall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Stall saw that one coming. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hulk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hulk tries to score with a low kick but Stall moves his leg out of the way. Hulk is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stall fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hulk. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Dan Stall will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Hulk comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. and Hulk counters with a huge left! Stall is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hulk isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Stall from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hulk!

Sar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A nice inside leg kick there by Sar. That's going to slow Blackburn down. Sar scores with a leg kick.
Blackburn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sar sees it coming and avoids it easily. Blackburn connects with a body shot that sends Sar's belly button to the back. Sar does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Blackburn blocks the body kick.
