0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dixie Pablo Khakhold! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Khakhold. Khakhold in side control, throwing shots but Perfect defends. Perfect regains half guard, as Khakhold was trying to land strikes. Perfect is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Khakhold's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Khakhold's back! Khakhold trying to control the position but Perfect manages to sink in the hooks. Perfect really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Khakhold. Perfect lands shots from the back. A bit of a pause in the action here. Perfect controlling the positon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khakhold trying to control but not successfully. Good control from Perfect. Khakhold really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perfect. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Khakhold wants to get back to his feet. Perfect has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Khakhold's body.

Khakhold seems to have recovered his senses. Perfect seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Khakhold for as long as he can get away with. Khakhold takes a big shot to the side of the head.

Perfect goes for a double leg but Khakhold avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Khakhold continues to drive forward. Perfect wants to stand up but Khakhold has a hold of him and won't allow it. Perfect has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Khakhold wants to control but Perfect is keeping busy.
Perfect lands with a punch from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Perfect in particular looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perfect is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Khakhold!

Bear works over Patterson's head and body with a nice combination. Jab from Bear. Patterson walks into a straight right hand from Bear. Bear pushes Patterson up against the cage in a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Bear. Bear lands a takedown into guard.

Bear is looking to stand up but Patterson won't let him. Patterson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bear no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Bear had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Patterson defends it easily. Bear looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Bourbon Conde throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Peacock slips a jab from Bourbon Conde. Bourbon Conde on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Peacock. Peacock obviously looking to wear him down.
Peacock ducks under a wild hook from Bourbon Conde. Peacock slips a straight right by Bourbon Conde. Bourbon Conde has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Bourbon Conde connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Drew Peacock has been cut. Peacock defending well as Bourbon Conde loads up on a big left hand. Bourbon Conde throws a poor cross that misses
and Peacock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Ludwik Bourbon Conde has been cut. Bourbon Conde throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Peacock sees it coming and avoids it easily. A punch lands to the side of Bourbon Conde 's head but he takes it in his stride. Bourbon Conde doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bourbon Conde throws a big shot that misses. Peacock lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bourbon Conde misses with a looping left. Bourbon Conde looks to throw the jab but Peacock is out of range. Bourbon Conde lands a nice shot that snaps Peacock's head back.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lopez throws a quick inside leg kick. Cartwright fails in his attempt to clinch. Cartwright fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lopez throws a sloppy head kick and Cartwright moves out of range easily. Lopez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cartwright has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Lopez connects with a leg kick. Cartwright looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Ceoghan Cartwright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cartwright tries to clinch there but Lopez circles away.
Lopez feints the counter takedown. Cartwright tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lopez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cartwright somewhat. Lopez scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Cartwright closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lopez quickly recovers to half guard. Lopez looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cartwright is trying to control the action in half guard but Lopez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cartwright seems to be looking for submissions.

Cartwright throwing shots but Lopez is blocking nicely. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cartwright lands a nice short elbow. Cartwright is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lopez is just riding it out for now. Cartwright eventually gives up the hold. Lopez gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lopez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lopez looking for a sweep. Not yet Lopez, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cartwright works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cartwright is looking to pass Lopez's guard but actually Lopez recovers to full guard. Cartwright works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lopez on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lopez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Cartwright forces his way into half guard. Cartwright seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lopez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Dynamite. Matthews throws a head kick that misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Dynamite.
Dynamite takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Dynamite looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dynamite lands a leg kick that knocks Matthews off balance momentarily. Dynamite tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Matthews is able to avoid easily. Matthews throws a body shot but no joy. Matthews misses with a shot to the body and Dynamite counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dynamite tries to land a front kick but Matthews steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Dynamite misses with an uppercut. Matthews wants to counter the offense by Dynamite and move into the clinch position. A looping hook to the body misses from Dynamite. Matthews does a little dance to reset his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dynamite lands a nice looking body kick. Dynamite pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Matthews lands with a good body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dynamite pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Matthews changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. The fighters circling - Dynamite throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Matthews stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dynamite. Matthews thows a left - swing and a miss! Dynamite catches Matthews with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Dynamite scores with a hook. Matthews's coach down at KY GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Matthews's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Dynamite lands the left hand. Matthews steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dynamite. That one must have hurt. Matthews moves out of range as Dynamite strikes. Matthews drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dynamite defends it well. Dynamite lands a jab to Matthews's midsection. Dynamite moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Dynamite takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matthews misses with a lunging right hand
and Dynamite counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Matthews shoots in for a takedown but Dynamite shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dynamite throws a combination. Matthews tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Dynamite looks to score with a jab to the body but Matthews is just out of range. Dynamite connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Dynamite throws a shot from downtown. Matthews moves away and avoids it. Dynamite takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Dynamite stuffs the takedown. Dynamite throws a nice outside leg kick. Dynamite pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Matthews is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. A punch combination from Dynamite misses. Matthews throws a lazy body kick letting Dynamite counter with a right hand. Matthews misses with a straight right. Matthews misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matthews misses with a hook. Dynamite ducked under it nicely. A slapping leg kick lands for Dynamite.

Matthews tries to counter by closing the distance. Nice cross by Matthews. Dynamite ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matthews moves away. A countering left hand to the body from Matthews misses. Matthews with a lazy takedown attempt and Dynamite counters with a good low kick that Matthews was not able to check. Napoleon Dynamite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clay Matthews. Matthews tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dynamite swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dynamite circles away from the clinch attempt.

Dynamite lands a jab to Matthews's midsection. Matthews uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dynamite. Dynamite takes a swing at Matthews's ribcage but misses. Dynamite throws a leg kick that is checked and Dynamite takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dynamite swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dynamite displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Matthews shoots in and drives through. Dynamite sprawls well. Dynamite throws a leg kick but Matthews sees it coming and moves out of range. Dynamite throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A lazy body kick attempt from Dynamite. Dynamite sets himself, and Matthews steps forward looking for the clinch! Dynamite avoids it this time. Dynamite connects with a good right hand that stumbles Matthews. Matthews circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Matthews avoids the body shot from Dynamite.
Dynamite lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Matthews throws a body shot but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Napoleon Dynamite dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dynamite uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Matthews takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Dynamite throws a series of punches but Matthews moves out of range. Dynamite with a hook. Matthews's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Matthews keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dynamite. Dynamite is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Dynamite scores with a nice right hand.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Matthews might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Dynamite has got the better of the exchanges. Dynamite dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Matthews is still on wobbly legs! Can Dynamite finish him? Napoleon Dynamite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dynamite drops Matthews with a naaaaasty hook - Matthews is in real trouble here! Dynamite dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
