Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elmer J Fudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zerachiel Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fudd takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fudd definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fudd misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Halo.
Fudd digs a good body shot into Halo's ribs.
Fudd walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fudd shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Halo sprawls well. Halo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fudd gets slowly back to his feet.
Fudd dives in for a single leg takedown but Halo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Halo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Fudd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Halo moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Halo.
Fudd fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fudd connects with a looping right hand.
Fudd on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Halo is looking to slow Fudd down with leg kicks.

and Halo counters with a nice uppercut.
Good leg kick by Halo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fudd is looking to wear down Halo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fudd on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fudd fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Halo avoids it really well and circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Halo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Halo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Halo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Halo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Oooooh!!! Halo has knocked Fudd down with a huge combo! Halo steps away and waves a wobbly Fudd back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fudd jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Halo slaps away a takedown attempt from Fudd, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Halo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fudd can pounce on him.
Fudd uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Halo.

Fudd lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Halo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fudd's head.
Halo cracks Fudd with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Fudd tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Halo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Fudd is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zerachiel Halo!
After winning the bout, Zerachiel Halo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Stephens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Collasus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've been hearing good reports from Collasus's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
