The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havel moves out of range as Potapenko strikes.
Potapenko throws a jab but it's blocked by Havel.
Havel feinted with a counter takedown.
Potapenko works the jab nicely.

Potapenko digs a right hand underneath Havel's ribcage. Havel let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Potapenko feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Havel sprawling to the canvas! Havel rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Potapenko finish him?!

It looks like John Havel has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Potapenko tries to bum rush Havel with a series of wild strikes but Havel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Havel attempts a counter takedown but Potapenko avoids it well and moves away.
Potapenko lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Havel head around and knocks him out cold! Potapenko hops onto the ropes and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Pozsar is looking to slow Rommel down with leg kicks.
Some bone on bone action there as Rommel checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Rommel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pozsar defends well and Rommel ends up having to push Pozsar into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
