The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Clark looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A swing and a miss from Deverux.

Clark tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Clark tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deverux paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Clark should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Deverux.
Clark ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Deverux moves away.
Clark tries to score a power double leg takedown but Deverux sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Clark somewhat.
Clark fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Deverux is out of range.
Deverux tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Clark manages to circle out of the way.

Clark fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Deverux checks it well.

Clark uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Deverux.

Clark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Deverux can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Clark is trying to control the position but Deverux postures up.

Deverux wants to get up but he can't break Clark's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Clark working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Deverux doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Clark is tightening it up a little... Deverux has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Deverux reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Deverux taps out! Nice BJJ there by Clark!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lesnar holds on and takes a little breather.
King wants to control from the top but Lesnar keeps moving.
King has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

King looking to sit in guard and control but Lesnar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

King controls Lesnar momentarily but Lesnar frees himself.
