Kadek is looking for a sweep. Evans is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Evans has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Evans thows a huge punch but Kadek dodges it nicely.
Kadek is refusing to be controlled, as Evans sits in half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Babawto's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bear tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hitogoroshi defends well and Bear ends up having to push Hitogoroshi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kaho shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daddy defends it nicely.
Kaho shoots in for a takedown but Daddy shows good takedown defense.
A telegraphed right hand from Daddy misses the target.
Kaho tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Daddy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kaho takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fighters circle momentarily. Daddy darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Daddy loads up on a big right hand but Kaho slips the punch.
Daddy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kaho has time to react.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaho dives in for a single leg takedown but Daddy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Mack Daddy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viavao Kaho.
Kaho's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Daddy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kaho scrambles back to his feet.
Daddy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kaho eats them both and turns towards Daddy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kaho is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kaho changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Kaho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daddy's waist but Daddy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kaho off to one side.
Kaho takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kaho has an Americana. Daddy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kaho is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kaho hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
