The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Karanov!
It looks like Ricardo Guzman has been cut. Karanov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Guzman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ricardo Guzman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guzman shoots in for a takedown but Karanov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Karanov is looking to counter punch. Some wild striking there from Karanov.
