The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trane cracks Goldsmith with an open hand slap. Trane throws a right and a left that both miss. Goldsmith avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Trane, as that shot connected.
Trane drops Goldsmith with a naaaaasty hook - Goldsmith is in real trouble here! Trane dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Malapitan catches Parisyen right on the button with a cross. Malapitan misses with a hook. Parisyen looks for a takedown but Malapitan sprawls well. Malapitan keeps the fight on the outside. Parisyen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Malapitan avoids it really well and circles away. Parisyen misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice straight punches there by Malapitan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Malapitan. Malapitan lands with a shot to the body. Nice jab there from Malapitan.

Parisyen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Malapitan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Raje Malapitan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kari Parisyen. Parisyen tries to close the distance and clinch but Malapitan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kari Parisyen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Malapitan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Parisyen drops his hands momentarily and Malapitan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Parisyen slips under a jab. Malapitan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Parisyen flicks out a counter leg kick but Malapitan steps away. Malapitan lunges at Parisyen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Parisyen's hand. Parisyen dives in and scores a takedown into Malapitan's guard. Parisyen controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parisyen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Malapitan keeping full guard, as Parisyen tries to pass. Parisyen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A head kick by Parisyen misses and Malapitan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Parisyen is looking to clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A jab from Malapitan finds it's way through Parisyen's defenses. Wolf throws a lazy right hand but Raatikainen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Raatikainen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wolf to score with a decent uppercut. Wolf misses with the combination.

Wolf tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Raatikainen is able to avoid easily. As Wolf backs off Raatikainen throws a huge counter combo but Wolf manages to avoid it all. Wolf misses with a right hand and Raatikainen counters with an inside leg kick. Raatikainen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wolf. Wolf throws an off balance right hand
enabling Raatikainen to counter with a crisp jab. Wolf lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Raatikainen blocks a head kick by Wolf.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jaska Raatikainen. I think Raatikainen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Guth steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yauch. Guth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Yauch throws a right and a left that Guth avoids nicely. Guth steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Yauch. Yauch fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Yauch tests Guth's chin there with a solid looking shot. Guth takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yauch bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Guth's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Yauch. Guth does a little dance to reset his feet. Yauch lands a jab to Guth's midsection. Yauch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yauch tries to kick Guth off but Guth keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Yauch looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Guth! Submission of the night perhaps?

Roy changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Roy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Abe! But no joy. Some wild striking there from Abe.
Roy half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Roy cracks the inside of Abe's front leg. Roy connects with an inside leg kick. Abe is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Roy lands a leg kick that knocks Abe off balance momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roy wants to get back to full guard but Abe has mounted him!

Abe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
