The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Guy One misses. The fighters circle momentarily. Wainwright darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Wainwright connects with a jab. Wainwright lands an overhand right. A right-left combo lands from Wainwright. Wainwright cracks Guy One with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Wainwright scores with a decent looking hook. Guy One throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A lazy left from Wainwright finds it's target. The crowd are loving this. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grates gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jackson counters with a nice body shot. Grates is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nice cross by Jackson. Roman Grates seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A momentary lapse in concentration from Jackson enables Grates to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jackson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Grates stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Grates is one step ahead there. Crawford really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guy Three. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smith takes one to the chin there. Cricket works Smith's body with a nice hook. Cricket throws a shot to the body.
