The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Simon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Simon getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Simon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Simon scores with a three punch combo!

Simon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson. Simon throws a right and a left that both miss. Simon darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A combination from Simon does no damage. Vance Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Paul Simon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A left and a right from Simon both land. Nice combination.

Girl lands a left and a right that send Danzeg crashing to the mat, dazed. Girl thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Dane Danzeg has been cut. Silly Girl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Danzeg tries to clinch there but Girl circles away.
Oh Danzeg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Danzeg throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Girl stuffs the takedown. Girl lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Danzeg circles away quickly and effectively. Danzeg showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Girl.
Girl is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Danzeg flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Danzeg is out cold! Girl holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pundt misses the jab. Pundt pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Pundt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Macey keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pundt. Macey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Macey throwing shots but Pundt is blocking nicely. Pundt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pundt is working hard here to advance position. Macey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Macey is taking a breather. Pundt says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Macey throws a strike but Pundt avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Pundt working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Macey. Pundt keeping moving, preventing Macey from controlling successfully.

Pundt misses with a low kick. Pundt tries to land a leg kick but Macey saw it coming and moves away.

Jackson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Graf. That did some damage! Jackson lands a big head kick that sends Graf tumbling to the mat! Jackson takes a step backwards and waves Graf back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Archy Graf has been cut. Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Graf looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jackson! Oh Graf is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson tries to buck Graf off but he can't manage it. Graf seems to have got his legs back now. Graf is looking to work his way around to Jackson's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Graf controlling from the full mount. Jackson is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Graf throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Jackson trying to control the other hand but Graf gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Jackson has tapped out! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pepper moves away from the strike by Peterson. Pepper avoids the body shot from Peterson.

Yuskevich must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Yuskevich trying to control but Starr is working from the bottom. Starr isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Yuskevich stacks Starr on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. Starr keeping moving, preventing Yuskevich from controlling successfully. Starr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yuskevich can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Starr looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Davis digs a good body shot into Bad's ribs. Bad misses with a takedown attempt and Davis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bad swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beck throws a right and a left that Sparks avoids nicely. Sparks ducks under a wild hook from Beck. Beck scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Beck throws the left hand but Sparks avoids the punch easily. Sparks takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sparks avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sparks ducks under a wild hook from Beck. Beck just misses with a punch to the body.
Sparks takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sparks closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sparks tries to score with some ground and pound. Beck controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Sparks throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Beck manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sparks's best efforts. Beck is looking to get back to full guard here but Sparks has managed to pass to side control instead. That's three minutes gone in the round. Beck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sparks swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sparks pushes a forearm under Beck's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Beck is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
